I slapped one of the 12v volt meters into the outlet down low on the console. Makes it easy to keep an eye on the charge. http://www.amazon.com/Display-Digital-Voltmeter-Vehicle-Voltage/dp/B00962CQNC/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1404316651&sr=8-3&keywords=12v+lighter+gauge

What will you be doing with your $850?
Fat Fusion replied to Towmod's topic in Lounge - Fusion Energi
You will not be disappointed. I've charged my car as many as 4 times in a day. -
You just go to a competent race car shop and they'll have corner scales for you to use. Let us know what you find. I'm guessing really close to 50/50 with the batteries in the trunk.

It depends. Most of the time the tech uses the right oil and the right filter and doesn't strip the plug threads. A fraction of the time something is done wrong. I've heard of a lot of stripped oil plugs. I do my own work so there's nobody to blame but me if I screw something up. I did install a Fumoto valve, so my chance of stripping the threads goes down to zero.

Bummer.

No issues at all in the rain.

A few of my friends work here. They're focusing on just that technology, but not for cars yet. http://viewglass.com/product/overview/

That Turbo Cord looks pretty cool. Welcome to the forum. Nice car options!

Fuelly.com adds the Fusion Energi to their database
Fat Fusion replied to Taylorjd's topic in Lounge - Fusion Energi
Thread revival. :read: I've got almost 30 fill ups since October on my Fuelly log book. I'm all over the map on mileage. I really like the flexibility of the car. Recently I've been able to drive the 26 miles to work on the juice only and most of the way home after charging there. That's the recent spike in MPG. -

I'm going to spend it on a fine weekend open tracking my Boss 302 with vintage and late model Shelby's at Sears Point. :shift: http://www.norcal-saac.org/mininats/ -

Test Drove a Fusion Energi Titanium Today, and....

Ahahahaha you're going to autocross a Fusion Energi? PLEASE do it in EV mode. It's not like you're going to get a good time anyway. VIDEO of the action is required as well. :camera: -
I use PhotoBucket.com and have probably a thousand pictures uploaded there. When I browse to a picture I want to post, there is a little box with the forum codes ready to copy and paste along with the photo icon button above the box that we type our replies in. I hope that makes sense. I just went to dinner with the gf and folks and had a couple beers! PM me for details if you want.

I think you can just peel it off. The stripes on my Boss 302 can be peeled off no problem. Plus the AZ heat will help loosen up the glue. Here's my friend Marty's 2011 GT500 with two large decals that were applied in the manner I described above. Zero wrinkles but my other friend Michael is very experienced at applying Shelby decals!

I've seen some pretty large decals applied using soapy water or detail spray and a credit card to work your way across it. Dry is almost impossible.

How exactly does one try to dispute rear ending someone else ???

I said I wasn't going to mod this car. Seeing those on the grey car might change my mind. Been wanting tint like that too. Looks great.

You're seeing two issues. The first is the bug that says it'll start charging right away when it's on Value Charge. My '14 does that too. But, mine has no problem waiting until 3am to do the Value Charge. I flip back and forth all the time and it works consistently.

Not me. The carpool lane on 101 is already pretty stuffed on my way home from work. I know, I know, I'm adding to the "problem."

Call JC at Ford Store Morgan Hill. Great guy to deal with since he's knows these cars inside and out. Last I checked they had 99 Energi's on the lot or on order so I'd be surprised if they didn't have a few on the lot with stickers to choose from.

Looking to add bass tube or box in trunk
Fat Fusion replied to musicmafia's topic in Audio, Navigation & SYNC
No doubt a sub will improve the Titanium sound. There's "some" mid range bass but nothing deep and hard hitting like a 10" or 12" sub can put out.
