I removed all badging. Emergency responders, like those who choose to enlist in the military, are professionals who willingly assume the risks associated with their chosen jobs and are compensated accordingly. Take a look at the warnings we now have on electrical extension cords, hairdryers, or the sunvisor on your car. In my opinion, it is socially irresponsible to regulate the majority to attempt to protect a minority, that we allow our government to do so is even more egregious. Let Murphy and Darwin take care of the idiots among us.

Does anyone know if there is a maximum USB size/storage capacity? If so, what is it?

Coastal Electronic Technologies makes an interface to My Ford Touch which, among many other features, allows for a camera under the front bumper to view the parking stops when you are parking. It activates when driving forward at 4mph or less. Also a side-rearview mirror camera which activates when changing lanes. http://www.coastaletech.com/fusionlockpick.htm

I bought a Bosch 240v/16A model EL-51245 from Amazon for $423 and installed it myself today with a homemade 25' power cord...super easy. I mounted it to the end of the garage door rail so it is up and out of the way when not in use. In this location the 12' charging cable is plenty long and need never touch or drag on the garage floor. Pictures attached. The Bosch unit draws less than 5w in standby mode and also has a rocker switch on the side to completely turn it off for no draw at all.

Does anyone know if the active noise control (sound dampening system) is always "on" even if the sound system is turned off? Other than the following reference in the fuse table: 33 20A1 Radio, Active noise control I can't find any information on it.

Russael, the two remaining late availability options 52A and 46B were lifted on Thursday, hence my order. Further, the new car manager said Ford WANTs to show high sales numbers on the Energis (to help with development costs and PR statistics) so getting an allocation for an Energi is supposed to be easier than for the ICE Fusions. Plus, I live in NEW Mexico, just over the river from the Republic of Mexico so I'm hopeful to receive mine by Christmas.

I requested a brochure online a couple weeks ago, got my $750 coupon on Tuesday (by E-mail) and ordered a new Titanium Energi today. I just have to use the coupon by December 7 (valid for 60 days), although dealer said they could close the deal once a VIN is assigned!
