I have now towed this 2018 Fusion Energi for more than 4000 miles without issue. I used all Roadmaster parts from eTrailer with the exception of the braking system. For that I used the Demco Stay N Play Duo with wireless monitor. You were given incorrect information.

A “toad” is a vehicle with four wheels on the ground, towed with a tow-bar behind an RV motorhome. I am prepping my 2018 Fusion Energi for just this task. The first step is to remove the front bumper/facia assembly and then install the front tow-bar base plate. While the bumper was off I was able to see why I only had a functional low note horn. It was because there never was a high note horn installed on the assembly line. (SMH) The low note horn is found on the drivers side behind the end of the metal impact bumper. The high note should be found behind the end of the right side end of the metal impact bumper. The horns are only accessible with the bumper off the car. I purchased the correct high note horn last week and installed it today. The wire was located at the end of the bumper with the correct plug.

If I had decided to buy the one in San Francisco I would have done that. This was a one day drive each way. We stopped at friends on the way back. 800 miles is pretty much my limit to go get a vehicle. Any more than that, yes, it requires a one way flight.

I drove 1720 miles round trip from Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Lafayette, Indiana to trailer back a 2018 Fusion Platinum Energi, with 16,240 miles on it. This was a one owner vehicle from Toronto, Canada. There are very few Fusion Energi’s here in the south. So far I am extremely impressed with the performance from this automobile.

Hello all, I purchased a one owner 2018 Ford Fusion Platinum Energi 2 weeks ago today. I initially intended purchasing a 2022 Hybrid Maverick but Ford is delaying delivery 6 months. I did not care to wait that long, so I started looking into what would be available pre-owned. After extensive research I settled on the Fusion Energi for many different reasons. I’m a bells and whistles guy so I sought my best deal on the Fusion Energi Platinum package. Since the purchase in the past two weeks I have absolutely no regrets. This is my first EV vehicle and I only regret not buying one sooner. This vehicle meets and exceeds all my expectations. I’m a retired engineer and former classic Mustang restorer. I want to learn more about this EV function and HVB. I purchased this vehicle to flat tow behind my motorhome. I just ordered all the towing components to install on this vehicle.
