It was 28 here this morning. I ran the heat the whole way I lost about 7 miles. My normal commute is 18.5 miles. On a 60 degree day, I pull in with 7-8 miles on the battery with 100%EV Today I had 1 mile left on the battery 100% EV.

I know the my ford mobile app allows you to remote start the vehicle, but I wish you had control of the climate control and heated seats. How nice would it be to be able to adjust them temp, and turn on the seats when you started the vehicle via the app?

My commute drains my battery, and when I get home from work I plug in. I'm home for about an hour or so before we usually head out to a school function, or to get dinner or other errands. Once I'm home most everything is within 2-3 miles of my house. The hour that I can plug in on 120 will give be 3-6 miles of EV battery back. If I went 220 I'd have 6-12. Depending on the day, that is enough but not always. Cost wise I can't justify the L2. It's cheaper to pay the gas than to install a L2 - but I WANT the L2 -so when I finally get it, it's for convenience, not cost. Certainly not a NEED. As far as the separate circuit, well that depends on the outlet you are using. I've never tripped a breaker yet in 35 days.

What are the requirements? You have to have on one every quarter? Man I think I'd rather drive in the regular lane than use those!

Is there a safer alternative?

For what it's worth - last night I cleaned my windshield and rear window on the inside with windex. This morning on my way in, with a preconditioned cabin and the climate control off my window didn't fog up. There were a couple of spots in the corneres where I didn't clean it good enough but that was it. The outside temp was 45 this morning. So perhaps, a clean window doesn't fog up. I dunno. Just passing along an observation.

When I walk up to the car, with the fob in my pocket, I pull on the handle and the door opens. My wife pulls on her handle and the door opens. My daughter pulls on the back handle and it opens...

I got passed today by a smart car on the highway...... Im a completely different driver than I was 30 days ago. I have to admit my stress level has gone way down since driving this car....

There's a level three charger a couple miles from here, I wasn't sure if I could just find an adapter to charge a little quicker.

Most of the public chargers here are free, but I did come across a charge point station that was $2per hour. I think that is outrageous, but it is front row parking at the Mall - sooooo.. I parked and charged :)

I bought a Mercedes in Indiana, and had the Indiana Dealership complete the sales paperwork for Texas. They did the entire transaction and sent the paper to the Texas DMV. So anything can be done. My Indiana Purchase, left the indiana lot with a Texas registration.

Is there a adapter for the Energi to accept a level 3 charger?

Today was the first day I couldn't make it to work on a full charge. It was the coldest day of the year so far. I did precondition with a go time, but still I was a couple miles short of EV. I was playing with the climate control to see if I could get more miles by venting but it got cold inside. Other than e cold the only other difference was the heat versus ac. I had my phone plugged in and charging. Does the heat draw more than the ac?
