Seat memory with Intelligent Access Fob
Dag replied to Scooter80's topic in Alarms, Keyless Entry, Locks & Remote Start
Same here, no third chime. I've read there is/will be a TSB for this? -
Ordered! The coupon is still active (case sensitive)

Thanks. The glare on the screen is my biggest complaint on this car. :/

Do you order the one for the fusion hybrid? Is that the same size? The glare from the sun makes this navigation system almost usuelss certain times of the day

iPhone 6 ios 8 does not support messaging
Dag replied to SteveEnergi's topic in Audio, Navigation & SYNC
My ios8 iphone6 and works pretty well. The messages show up if I'm stopped, and I can listen to them if I'm driving. A couple issues I'm having this are: Occasionally the phone won't sync to the car. Intermittent at this point. I can dial from the dash. When I click place call it does nothing. -

2013 Energi Titanium Nav/Roof - For Sale 19k miles
Dag replied to Dag's topic in Buying, Leasing & Ordering
I did receive the check. I will ask about the SYNC patch when it goes on for service next. I'm working with another dealership for a purchase of a new car and looking to trade this one in as part of the deal. The car I'm considering isn't available until Mid Oct - so it's crunch time. -

2013 Energi Titanium Nav/Roof - For Sale 19k miles

Yes I've been there to appraise the car. I also know there's a supply/demand equation that you have to consider. It's only worth what a buyer will pay for it. Also, more buyers means more value. ;) -
I purchased my 2013 grey titanium Energi with a sunroof and navigation. I'm ready to part with it. I live in central indiana and would consider making a short drive to deliver it. I don't know what the market will bear for this vehicle, so if your interested let me know. We can work on a fair price! I have about 12k miles on it. It's in excellent condition. I've owned it exactly 1 year.

Got a check today too - haven't been here in awhile so no idea it was coming.. Cool! Curious though, couldn't you just turn the car in lemon law for a full refund instead of cashing the check?

Yes for the voice activation ;) Ok, no, it's some sort of heating module.. I'll get the part # from the invoice Monday ;)
-
It's been in the shop since yesterday, they have reprogrammed everything, and performed the TSB, and the problem still exists. The dealer sent a message to ford and ford say replace the hearing module. So now, I wait for the part to get here on Monday.

I though that as well. My build date is 7/4/13 and when it worked last week, I had the options for the front and rear defrost, and it worked.

Well, I don't know that it wasn't doing that. every time I turned it on, the air was extremely cold. It would blow at full speed. So I'd just turn it right back off.

I was afraid of letting it run dry. It's been sol cold here lately that the ICE is coming on even in EV Mode "For system Performance" Even thought I had EV miles left, my gas was running low, and I decided to just fill up because I wasn't sure if being out of gas would prevent the ICE only, or shut the whole thing down. I didn't know.

I had a 4x4 Ford F150 Platinum and traded it for my Energi. I have been very disappointed with it's performance in the snow so far. But It's not a fair comparison.

My car sleeps in the Garage, and the go times generally seem to work. It's not 72 in the car, but I also don't exactly leave on time either. This particular morning, I got in the car, and as I was driving, I could not get any hot air out of the climate control. The temperature on the screen said 0 degrees. I pressed the Plus and it jumped to 19 degrees, once. That was it. I pressed the minus, and it went to 0 and stayed there. I stopped at the gym for a bit. As I was leaving the gym the remote start did not work. I got in the car, the temp still was 0. So I drove to work with the climate control off. Every once in awhile I'd turn it on to see if I could get something besides 0 on the temp. I could not. As I was about 2 miles from work, I remembered there was a climate adjust on the right steering wheel control. The dash read 0 degrees, and I pressed the up arrow, and it jumped to LO. Then seemed to work, it even reset the main screen. All is well…. Or NOT.. As I was leaving work, again the remote start didn't work. So when I got in the car, I went through the setting on the left steering wheel control for remote start. Under climate control, there is no longer an option to make any changes. (It had worked before, I'm positive) but now, every single option is greyed out. I can not make any changes to the remote start operation. Obviously it's going to the dealership, but anyone else had this happen?

Go Time versus Remote Start.
Dag replied to Dag's topic in Alarms, Keyless Entry, Locks & Remote Start
I dug through the settings and set em all to auto. That should help. One of the options was silent start? If that's on, does it force the HVB usage? If it's off Will the ICE come on? -
Go Time versus Remote Start.
Dag replied to Dag's topic in Alarms, Keyless Entry, Locks & Remote Start
Ahh that's what I was missing. I do know it will drain e battery, but I forgot about e left screen setting to auto! Thank you! Mine is set to last used, and it's been off mostly so I was trying to figure out the value of it if the climate was off. Now I know! Thanks! -
I've had my car a little over a month and figured this out finally. Go times (require a plug in) will pre-heat/cool the car to a temp regardless of the climate control settings in the car. Remote start, (no plug in required) will start the car and let the climate control heat/cool the car based on the last setting. So as I try to preserve miles, and arrive home with the climate control off, my remote start does NOTHING to help warm/cool the cabin. Is that all correct?

Left? Drivers side.

Since electric rates and gas prices Cary, I don't worry about MPGe. I simply say, I'm getting 94 MPG, for around $20 a month.

I keep thinking its opening by itself.....
