  1. Here is what I've learned over the past couple of weeks or so trying to really sell this car. Just like when we bought them, NO ONE knows what they heck they are. No one understands the technology and even Ford does a bad job of promoting it. So the used market for this car is terrible. I would suspect that a dealership who knew what this car was would be able to retail this car for 29-30k. Therefore the wholesale price should be 25-26k - however, I've been pulling teeth to fight to get 22k for this ride. I'm not going to let it go for 22k. It's worth more to me as a third car than trying to buy a third car for 22k a lot less equipped. The market clearly is not ready for this vehicle still. The only way it will fetch 29-30k is from a consumer who understands the technology and doesn't just assume it's a "hybrid" those guys are out there, but the salesforce doesn't have a clue how to sell this product , New or Used. Combine all that with gas hovering around $2.00/gallon and basically the car has very little value in the used market. Two dealerships flat out told me they didn't even want it at 22k - they didn't want to hassle.
  2. Bump - I still have this - still in excellent condition. $26,000 looks to be a fair price from KBB 18,693 miles as of 3/16/15
  3. It's a L1 charger too :) They are there long enough to no justify the L2
  4. There is a good video here. http://www.theindychannel.com/news/local-news/indianapolis-police-rolling-out-50-hybrid-cars

  6. At the annual tree lighting downtown Indianapolis i saw a Ford Fusion Energi Police Car! I was at an intersection waiting for traffic to clear and right in front of me passed a Ford Fusion with police lights flashing. It caught my eye as a fusion police car which I thought was unique, then as I looked closer it clearly had the charge port and the energi badging. It was black with very discrete lighting. Very cool. Perfect for those police chases of 26 miles or less :). I wish I had a photo, but it all happened so fast.
  7. Ah, I see.. No, it happens in the summer as well.
  8. I do not believe its ICE related since from what I recall it happens in the morning when I leave for work after a full charge. The ICE isn't on.
  9. If it was the brake, I think I would feel the resistance. It feels completely normal then pops.
  10. It's intermittent. Seems to be within the first five feet of going backwards. The car rolls smooth before and after.
  11. I tried to explain this noise to my dealer, but they were unable to duplicate it. Thoughts on what it might be? http://youtu.be/eLQzfHBAduw
  12. It might be pointless with the great warranty on the HVB - but is there a replacement aftermarket battery that might give us - 50 miles or so per charge? In 2-3 years if the HVB fails do you think technology will provide a longer range?
  13. I don't know how we got so lucky to have a ford rep in here - but I like it!
  14. The pop up ads on the bottom right are annoying - plus on the iPad they show up in the middle and often. Is there a way to disable / modify or move them?
  15. Just to confirm the DayVue screen is great. It cuts down considerably on the fingerprints and the glare. Easily a MUST do for everyone IMO. It installed easily and without issues and I'm a moron when it comes to this stuff..
  16. I wish the charge port light could be turn on fully and left on.
  17. Completely agree. If this car looked like the other EV cars on the market I would not have purchased it. I have reputation to uphold, I can't have anyone thinking I care about the environment...
