The trunk is small! My current car has a false floor (for my amps) and 10" sub in the trunk and has more room this this car. Was very surprised.

I am not sure... I thought someone else had gotten one as well, but looking I do not see that -- so maybe! I know I was number 2 at my dealership, same day though. Came off the truck this morning and a Deep Impact Blue Titanium left before I got there (think they said that has been on order for some time). Looks like the build date on mine was 30.01.2013, and the blue one was 21.02.2013 (to give an idea on shipping times). Looks like mine sat in the parking lot for a while.

Very excited that you can get the range that was quoted on the car with a full charge. Not sure what is going to happen in the summer time, because I will be running the air conditioner. Also surprised by how well it did on mpge. I thought by the sticker we were suppose to do around 100, 30% higher is a very nice surprise. Oh, another interesting note. It seems my car was selected for additional quality control, so when I first test drove it there was 36 miles on the odometer (27 from the factory according to the sticker that was in the window). I also have the buttons for the sunroof etc vs the touch areas for those controls. Think I like them a little better. If anyone has any questions, let me know.

Thanks Fusion... I would have waited too if I would have had to lose options. Feel pretty lucky.

It took a little bit of work but I was able to keep all my incentives $750 private cash (which officially expired) and the $1500 cash rebate. Also still got the xplan. Pretty excited right now... but also a little bit behind the schedule. Was waiting until the car was scheduled before installing the l2 charger and now have a car to list and sell.

They are popping up all over the place. The search inventory tool works really well on the Ford site. There is one less on my local dealers lot as of tonight! ;)

OK... call me impatient. Got a call at work today that my dealer got a fully loaded Platinum White energi... there went my productivity at work... Decided it would be worth skipping the wait to spend the extra $720 on the active park assist and live with the spoiler... so I got 133.6 mpge on the way home! Did this on about 18 miles of mixed driving (what it told me it would go on battery) and had 3 miles left once parked in the garage. Turned the climate control off, but the lights and stereo were going. :shift:

That would be a little far for me to drive, I am in the Triangle area in NC (Cary to be more precise). I think my local dealer has one (at least that is what the web says). I have driven the Hybrid SE and V6 Titanium. Especially with the reviews popping up from the locals here I am getting more excited that I will have a new car soon.

High mileage FFE NOT commuting or MPGe question?
meyersnole replied to enfofan's topic in Lounge - Fusion Energi
0-62 in 12.7 sec and top speed of 100 with a price tag competing with Fisker Karma or about twenty grand more then a fully loaded Tesla Model S? Sure the XL1 will stomp the Karma in fuel economy, but the Karma wins in looks/style and performance (by a mile). The XL1 still does better then the Tesla on economy and range, but also gets smoked on performance. The XL1 is looking like a very low production car. Who would drop six figures on a car that gets smoked by a Prius off the line? Very cool from a technical standpoint, but at that price I would love to see the market analysis. -
I did not sit in an energi yet, but did sit in a Titanium Fusion. I was very impressed with the sound system.

For me, 17 inch is just fine, but they could have picked nicer rims. In addition to looking like the will be a PITA to clean they don't look that great either. I would have liked either the Y or H style rim in 17.

Right there with you Shaggy -- Unscheduled, clean. The dealer does think that things should start moving faster now. Hopefully we both get good news next Friday.

Happy Birthday pluggedin!

Could not find the tire sizes on the Ford site so I used the ones that Tirerack.com said were the factory tire sizes.

Costco Membership = X-Plan Pricing?
meyersnole replied to sdkirby's topic in Buying, Leasing & Ordering
You can try going to blue oval and requesting a pin http://www.blueovalforums.com/forums/index.php?/forum/45-ford-x-plan-pin-requests/ I am fortunate enough to work for a company that has a relationship with Ford, so I can not speak to what kind of success you might get from this route. You should read the pinned thread before making your request. Good luck. -
Congratulations newbeetle on your order.... Like minds on the spoiler delete.

Hi Scooter80 welcome to the forum and congrats on the order! Hopefully the production line is rolling now and we will all get our cars soon.

Never really understood leases. Why would it be a better deal? The $3750 as a tax credit or rebate is a wash. Bought my energi with the xplan, so got a pretty good deal with out the hassle of negotiating it. Then got to put the $1500 & $750 private cash offer on top of that. I did consider asking about the Focus EV for lease, but have always heard that unless you only want to keep cars a few years they don't make sense. Would have considered the EV because I am not sure I could live with that car long term.

interestingly enough it is off, but according to 1010tires not by 3.32% If the sizes are 235/50 R17, 235/45 R18, and 235/40 R19 then 235/45 R18 Speedometer Difference: 0.265% too slow, Diameter Difference: 0.27% ( R17 speedo = 60, R18 speedo = 59.8 ) 235/40 R19 Speedometer Difference: 0.571% too slow, Diameter Difference: 0.57% ( R17 speedo = 60, R19 speedo = 59.6 )

Would love to see a picture of that. I think my garage is a little higher than that, but very interested in that solution.

YES. Was in Phoenix a few years back, and even if it is a dry heat 118 is HOT. loved how quickly things cooled off after the sun went down. Good to hear about the range, that is one of my bigger anxieties.
