  1. Mohawk Ford in Hamilton, Ontario told me that I would have to pay both parts and labor, and it would be $1,500. I sensed that they didn't want to do it!
  2. This is our first winter with a 2018 Energi. This morning there was a dusting of snow on our side street, and it was very slippery at the stop sign. In an ICE car, if the wheels lock up when braking gently, the anti-locks take over. Is that the case on an Energi? Is there anti-lock on the regen braking, if only gentle pedal pressure is applied and the wheels lock up?
  3. I live near Toronto and will not be using my 2018 Energi for a month this winter. It will be outside. I would appreciate suggestions on what state of charge I should leave the HVB.
  4. After a heavy rain storm, the outside ground fault outlet was tripped and the car had not charged. I disconnected everything, reset the gfci, and reconnected the cable. The green light came on and the red fault light flashed. I unplugged and left the cable in the sun. After several hours I reconnected the cable. Sometimes it tripped the gfci and sometimes the green and flashing red appeared. Later that day I plugged in the cable. No green light and a solid red fault. I tried a different gfci circuit, and no lights at all came on. The cable is dead. The car is 3 years and 4 months old. I have purchased a new cable, and put a plastic bag over the box on it in order to protect from the rain.
  5. Turns out that I Had accidentally disabled this function. Newbies!!
  6. I recently purchased an 18 Energi that had been leased. The charging port has stopped blinking or lighting when it is charging, although this functioned when I first got the car. Is it possible that I have changed a setting that controls this?
