  1. Has anyone used this charger for their Energi? Amazon has it for $845 and it seems like it has some good features. ChuckJ
  2. True, but I requested the $750 coupon a couple of weeks ago and haven't gotten it yet. ChuckJ
  3. Right now I think you will want to find a 2013 to lease. They are running at 0% interest (best on 2014 is 5%), a good residual value and you get $3750 more off. My silver Titanium MSRP was $44,700 and I got it for $33,900 with the incentives and $500 coupon and they paid the first payment. They also gave me top dollar on my 2011 Fusion Hybrid. I leased it for 3 years with $375/mo and 20% down. They have several more, but I'm not sure of the years or options. PM me if you want the sales manager's name and number. ChuckJ
  4. There is a new incentive program from Ford tied to Facebook. Not all dealers are advertising it but you can click on a dealer that does, get the certificate number, print it out and take it to another dealer. It's a $500 one that is applied by Ford themselves after you make your best deal with the sales manager. It's called a $500 Private cash offer and it's available with either buy or lease. Because it is new, dealers may not be used to it and at first mine was rejected as they couldn't find it on their certificate data base. We couldn't reach the incentive folks on Saturday when I bought it, but Monday I called the program supervisor (Debra at 800-403-5225) and told her the problem. She called the dealership and straightened it out. Tuesday I took the coupon up there again and it went right through. Payment is suppose to be within 6 weeks. ChuckJ
  5. Eric: I leased a silver 2013 Titanium heavily equipped similar to yours with almost everything except ACC. Though it wasn't the optimum equipped vehicle for me, that limited my downside risk and enabled me to order the exact one I would want (dune interior, air conditioned seats and ACC) near the end of the lease. The residual value was competitive and the interest rate was 0% vs 5% for a 2014. ChuckJ
  6. My accel is >90%, breaking is 100 and I still can't get above 89 ;) ChuckJ
  7. Mine was built at the end of June and it just barely stays up. :) ChuckJ
  8. You should measure the battery voltage with a meter that plug into the cigarette lighter. It should read over 14.5 volts when it is being charged and over 12.25 when not being charged (not more than one day sitting). I have found most battery issues are caused when they are charged less than 14 volts. Don't forget this would probably be a lemon law issue which is easy and documented in the manual. Use arbitration, not court as if you lose there, you can go to court. If Ford loses, they can't (at least that's the way it works in Texas). ChuckJ
  9. We wanted to get the Dune leather, but couldn't get that in a Titanium. One dealer called the factory and they were not going to start building those until December. We settled for a 2013 Titanium with charcoal interior and will order exactly what we want 2 1/2 year from now. ChuckJ
  10. I took it on the highway and measured it with a sound meter. The resulting 68 dB was 5dB lower than any other car I have ever measured. I could get 71 if I put the sensor right by the forward part of the window, but I couldn't hear any wind noise. ChuckJ
  11. I just leased one and today :) :) :) and I was amazed to see that the $3750 is not claimed as a tax incentive, rather it is sub-divided into two incentives. The finance guy said you may be eligible for the tax credit and more importantly, a very experienced senior manager told me that Ford gives a tax credit on the lease of the next one. I didn't get into that in any depth. This car is amazing......smooth and quite!!!! ChuckJ
  12. Does anyone know if the MyFordMobile works on any car or any car with push button start or just Titaniums; some of the stickers say remote start and some don't. Thanks ChuckJ
  13. Where do you get a $750 coupon? ChuckJ
  14. Does anyone know if you get a better efficiency using the 220 system? ChuckJ
  15. Did you guys see the news article on the Russian drivers with dash camera's to have proof that the accident wasn't their fault. They have caught some of the strangest things. ChuckJ
  16. How long does it take the charger to boot after you turn it on? ChuckJ
  17. Great deal DelS!! Congratulations. Did you decide to purchase or lease it? The idea of getting the tax incentive immediately instead of having to wait intrigues me. ChuckJ
  18. I got my $750 coupon yesterday also, but it expires March 30th and it says you have to take delivery by that time. That's awfully short for a car that hasn't arrived at the dealer yet and when they tell you that if you order one it will take 6 weeks. ChuckJ
  19. I've never heard of a manufacturer not honoring their battery warranty. I'm not sure that people won't be getting 25-30 miles per charge at first reducing to 21 by the time it's 8 years old. We'll have to see. ChuckJ
  20. I don't think the Dune (tan) leather is available on the Titanium either. ChuckJ
  21. Has anyone looked into the specifications, cost and availability of the Ford promoted solar charging station? ChuckJ
  22. That's a good one! My electric motorcycle plate is AC001 as it is the first production AC motorcycle in the country. ChuckJ
  23. For those with big bladders, there's a rather large average MPH increase associated with having a large range also. ChuckJ
  24. Congratulations, Pluggedin!!! We're all waiting for your reports. ChuckJ
