I've checked on it and have tried to set it up for the last (3) days online and on the app, but it won't let me... When I go online, it says: "Cannot retrieve Go Times. Please try again later." Is everyone experiencing this issue? I really want to set this up...

Thanks for the information! Now, not sure if you would know this... So based on the Production Sequence Number (digits 12-17), can you tell where your car was in the build sequence, or more accurately -- the VIN creation sequence? My Production Sequence Number for instance, is 252589. What do those numbers actually mean? Is it Energi # 2589, or is there more to it than that? Or is there a 6-digit number that start the Energi sequence? Like 250000 maybe? Well as I said, I don't know if you know, but I searched the web for this and on many, many other Ford forums they have many different explanations. Like one said that 2005 Mustangs started with 100000 for instance. Just real curious and hopefully someone knows. In my ZL1 forum, the "father" of the modern Camaro is actually a regular forum user and he provides all of this type of production and inside information... I don't suppose we have the "father" of the Energi in here do we? That would be awesome. In any case, I appreciate the feedback. Thanks.

I'm active in another forum for my other car and they are tracking the VINs and build counts, including counts for certain colors and options. Does anyone know of the build count for the Fusion Energi for 2013? Like how many were built in total, how many of each color, and for each option as well? Really just curious to know how many are out there and how rare they actually are... Thanks.

We're in Sunrise. And I did actually try to get that tag ("ENERGI"), but it was obviously taken... LOL. Once we get ours, I'll share it with the Forum. So you haven't seen many Energis around huh? I haven't, but I've only been aware for a week or so, but now I'm always looking. Love the car.

Ahh, yes... Good catch. Meant to say "I worked up a little comparison between the Energi and the Hybrid (which we were considering), and also the Dodge Durango Citadel (which we traded in)." I only reference the Durango in the third section from the bottom "Usage based on daily charge and 15,000 miles". "Annual 15,000 mile Savings from Durango (trade in vehicle)", just a fuel savings really. Thanks for the feedback...

So after reading through the topics yesterday and being further encouraged by our actual fuel efficiency in the Energi, I worked up a little comparison between the Energi and the Hybrid (which we were considering), and also the Dodge Durango Citadel (which we traded in). Since we don't have many miles on the Energi yet, I used the EPA MPG ratings and ranges (seems as though many owners are exceeding the EPA numbers anyway). I'm sure it's not precisely accurate, but it should be pretty close. Looks like we're saving quite a bit (obviously) from switching out of the Durango. And based on these numbers, it looks like we made the correct choice as far as going with the Energi, though it does have a smaller trunk. Curious to get some feedback on my comparison's validity and wondering if I may have left any considerations out. Also, once I get the L2 charger installed, I'll work that into the cost, but since it came with the L1, it's valid at the moment in that regard. Once we start getting some miles under our belt, I'll put the actuals into the spreadsheet to true it up. Sorry if the image below is hard, or too small to read... I couldn't directly paste my table in here, so I figured that an image would do the trick...

From the album: Energi Cost/Fuel Comparison/Savings
A cost comparison I worked up. -
Thanks for sharing your experience. I'll give them a call and see if they're still more excited to sell than I am to buy. Lol.

Wow, thanks for the great feedback. Based on your comments, if the lead time hasn't improved, I won't go this route. I'm of the mindset that time is money and I'd be willing to pay extra for the satisfaction of having the charger now... Again, thanks for the great feedback.

Can you list the "Bosch Power Max™ 16A / 12' Cord"? At $449, seems like a bargain. Other versions include the following: - Bosch Power Max™ 30A / 18' Cord - Bosch Power Max™ 30A / 25' Cord Thanks!

So two days ago, we had a Ford F150 FX4, a Dodge Durango Citadel, and a Chevy Camaro ZL1. Today, we have a Ford F150 FX4, a Chevy Camaro ZL1, and a Ford Fusion Energi... So as a household we had 16.9L of engine displacement, 24 cylinders, 1,335HP, and were spending about $500 a month in gas... Enough was enough and my wife made a sacrifice for the space and comfort and traded in her Durango Citadel. She chose to replace it with a Sterling Gray Fusion Energi Titanium. So now we have 13.2L of engine displacement, 20 cylinders, 1,128HP and will be spending much less a month in gas (maybe $350 per month)... We did quite a bit of research and though the Fusion Energi had a lower hybrid efficiency rating than the Fusion Hybrid due to additional weight, and only had a 21 mile EV range, it seemed to make the most sense for us. Negotiated invoice pricing, eligible for $3,250 in rebates/incentives at purchase, and will be receiving the $3,750 tax credit at tax time -- plus the wife's office is 9 city miles from home. So with that said, the Energi made sense for us over the Hybrid and we bought it. 24hrs into the purchase and we LOVE it. Love the entirety of technology this vehicle has. Love the fit and finish of the cabin. Love the smooth ride and solid handling. Love the fuel economy. A very nice car packed with high end features. We instantly became addicted to the fuel mileage game and I spent all night excited to drive the morning after, and spent all day at work excited to drive it... We look forward to maximizing our fuel savings and pushing the limits.
