Not sure if you purchased your tires already, but If I were you I would go with 245/45/18. This is what I am doing when I finally have to change the horrible stock tires. The Fusion Sport trim guys even use 255s all the way around so you won't have any issues rubbing. MPG will most likely be lost, but in my opinion the Energy has a real stopping problem on 225s especially on wet surfaces. I already had two close calls and one damage so if roads are wet now I drive on L all the time period. Better brake pads are on the list as well when its time for a change! There is no low resistance tire that is a summer tire as the summer ones tend to be stickier so the two terms would work against each other. You can look up Nokian Z-line they could be what you are looking for.
