  1. My 2017 also has this issue. Charge port light worked perfectly for about two years and then it occasionally (once every two weeks) would need to have the setting changed to correct the light display. I want the light set to off (or limited) so I had to temporarily (10 seconds) switch the setting to "on" in order to be able to return it to "off". Over time this ceased working and the charge light stays on at all times now regardless of the setting position. It still goes thru the start up procedure of flashing the quadrants in a circular fashion twice, and the level is correctly displayed as the level of charge goes up. So the light is working properly, I have simply lost the ability to turn it off (or set it to limited for that matter). Took the car to dealer for repair under warranty. The report says the dealer "Checked for SOBDMC Codes U3000 Found SSM 46895 Reprogram PCM and BCM to Latest" When I got the car home and plugged it in the problem was unchanged. Charging port light still can not be switched off.
  2. Good idea about the possibility of erroneous outside temperature readings causing the "Outside Temp/Other" gauge to display inaccurately. Fact is, however, that my exterior temp readings are accurate so there must be another cause. The search for an answer goes on.
  3. I would appreciate any thoughts as to what constitutes "other" factors listed in the third bar of the "Next Full Charge" screen displayed at key-off. I live in southern Florida where temperatures range from 70's in winter to low 90's in summer. My routes vary with 90% suburban streets with speed <50mph and the rest is highway driving (in hybrid mode). What perplexes me is that despite widely varying temps, route, driving style, climate control usage, etc., etc., the "Outside temp./other" metric is always a significant negative influence on my estimated range; it never changes much. It's a big fat amber bar stretching far to the left, all of the time. And this happens even in the winter months with outside temps nearly ideal in the 70s. Maybe this factor could be improved if only I knew what "other" entailed. The owners manual is less than helpful in this regard. I have a 2017 FFE with ~45,000 miles and get 22-23 miles on a full charge at present. Charge exclusively on 110v. OEM tires. Edited April 29 by MarcoTom
