  1. Hello everyone! I'd like to introduce myself... I'm an old man... a Ford fan and lifetime FoMoCo owner. Last January, I traded my beloved 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis LS Ultimate Edition for a CPO Fusion Titanium Energie. At the time I bought it, my Energie had ~9300 miles on the odometer; I am (allegedly) the second owner. Since this car will likely be my last, I thought it'd be interesting to "try something different;" I've never dabbled in an alternative fueled vehicle or anything "green."
  2. I'm finally trying to get familiar with my new (to me) Fusion Energie, and have been paging through the manuals and reference guides. A few items have me puzzled: The manual mentions the power operated steering column. On mine, it adjusts in & out, and up and down, but manually, by tripping a lever underneath the column. Was the power operated adjustment eliminated? Or was that meant as an option for the Lincoln MKZ? Another item mentioned was the 400 watt 120 Volt household convenience outlet; My car doesn't have it. Another MKZ feature? And, I've noticed folks complaining of the missing under-hood insulation and rubber insulation.
  3. Greetings, everyone... I "recently" (January 23rd.) purchased a CPO Fusion Titanium Energie Edition... with 9300 miles on the ODO. The dealer filled the tank before I bought the car, and I have a little more than 9800 miles on it, with 1/4 of a tank left. This has jolted me out of my boots. Now, after 60+ years behind the wheel, I need to start learning about Fusions, and Hybrids in particular. (Yes, I'm THAT old...)
  4. Being "of a certain age," I wondered about that possibility; however, my 120 volt plug-in charger is mounted to the wall in my garage, and I'd (literally) trip over the cord if I didn't unplug it before getting into the car. God works in mysterious ways...
