  1. I have the same issue. My battery 12V goes dead if I let it sit without driving for 3-4 days. Wonder if pulling fuse #10 made any difference? I have a trickle charger hooked up if I know it will not be driven in a few days.
  2. Agree that was crappy of Ford to put 3G modems in the 2019-20 Fords. I did not know that there was a class action against that. Heck, Tesla has not upgraded to 5G in their new, well MY 2023 vehicles yet. I can see that being a problem in the future when everything goes to 5G. I like my 2019 Fusion Energi Titanium but wish they would put some hurry up on the recall to replace the battery. That $250 will not go far with $6 gas in your case, not as bad in my area but still over $3.
  3. I wish the battery was about twice as big. My son drives about 20 miles to work in the 2019 Energi, he could, before recall, get there or just about. Would have been nice to be able to drive there and back on one charge. But, I can only dream.
  4. Thats not too bad because I only paid $21K in Jan 21 for my 2019 Fusion Energi Titanium. It only had 4K miles and has less then 30K now. How many miles and is it a Titanium like mine? I may consider it if they offered that for mine. BTW I drank the Tesla juice...lol
  5. 14K seems a little low for a 2019. What kind of miles did you have on it? Did you take the offer?
  6. What numbers did you call at Ford. I have a 2019 Energi with about 25K miles. Wonder what they would give me for it? Edit: Went out to check the mileage and the 12V battery is dead. Either went bad or since I don't charge any more does not get driven enough. Not taking a 12V charge any more either. Bummer. Edit 2: Found this, is it true? I do still have the 3G modem in car. There’s an issue with the standby, and the car will naturally drain battery searching for a cell signal. Not driving for more than 4 days will kill this battery. The latest firmware helps in this area because 3G has been deprecated. Get a battery tender. Source: I’ve gone through 4 batteries. Same car.
  7. Thanks, good to know. I just checked mine again and still "in progress". What is really upsetting is just got a new 240V charger and can't use it. That really stinks.
  8. Anyone got their $250 approved yet? Mine seems to be stuck "in progress".
  9. This really stinks if true. I was about to sign up for my $250 but wanted an update. Wish they would just buy the vehicle back or give you really good tradein on some other ev or hybrid. I am about to park it out of the garage just to be safe. Edit: Please allow 4-6 weeks from the time you submit your request to receive your check in the mail. (Another bummer)
  10. I just had the 12V battery go dead since I had not driven or charged (since recall letter) my 2019 FFE for about a week and a half. Does the HVB charge the 12V battery or did my 12V battery just reach eol? Charging the 12V battery now, and guess will try to drive it every day to see what happens. Edit 10/21: Well, looks like the battery is ok for a while, let it sit for 2 days and was still 12.3V. Anyone got any good trade-in deals from Ford on like a Mach E? Not being able to charge sucks. Noticed some relay clicking noise from engine area when charging the 12V battery. Think it was when charge reached about 13.5V, is this normal? BTW, did charge 12V outside, just in case.
  11. I agree with you. Guess I will start parking my car outside away from everything else. One thing really concerning from the recall information: On May 2, 2023, the issue returned to CCRG for review. Two additional fires occurred during the monitor period, both while a customer was driving the vehicle. At that time, the CCRG was aware of seven fires and 270 warranty claims resulting in a loss of motive power as a result of this concern.
