Just wanted to share the first service issue on my brand new Titanium Fusion Energi having just under 2000 miles. On Tue (Oct 16) I found that eNergi would not accept a charge from my 110V (Level 1) charger. Tried various workarounds mentioned in this forum like unplugging the charger, starting the car, opening the door etc. but no luck. Initially MFM showed 'charging fault' but later that changed to 'waiting for charge'. I do not have any Value Charge profiles set up but still got this message. Anyway I left it plugged in overnight and as expected no charge early in the morning. Drove in hybrid mode to the nearest Level 2 charger, just to confirm if my Level 1 charging cable had a fault, but energi won't take a chage from Level 2 too. Finally drove to Ford Dealer, they confirmed that the car is not taking a charge using their chargers too. Then they applied TSB 13-9-13 and verified that car was charging at the service dept. Back home it got a full charge during the overnight charging and I'm a happy camper now :)

Should the estimated driving range matter? Afterall its just an estimate based on historical and current usage data. A fully charged HVB has the same capacity (after few charge cycles for the initial break in), Drive in a manner to get most out of the battery and you will automatically get the best range. Not having a range anxiety is the best part. :) Enjoy the ride.. :shift:

Anyone able to program the key fob to change seat positions automatically? As member 'FusionEnergi' mentioned, my seats positions change only when the unlock button is pressed on the keyfob and not when using proximity to unlock the car.

The outside weather also seems to affect the projected range of the HVB. Today morning it was a bit chilly out here (low fifties maybe) and the battery range had reduced by 2-3 miles from what I usually see.

Welcome aboard. I too just joined recently. I can tell you this, one can't seem to stop watching the fordwoner youtube videos. There are a ton of those and you might end up watching some of them multiple times. Once on your computer and then on your smartphone when inside the car :)

Thanks everyone, this forum helped me a lot in deciding between the FF energi and Hybrid. Energi is the way to go as it is very cost competitive with respect to the Hybrids when one factors in the tax rebates. My research showed that while car dealers were willing to discount Energis by a ton (I got mine almost 9K below MSRP after rebates and 750 coupon + tax/tags), they we not budging on the 2013 FF Hybrid prices. jeff_h you are correct, I got mine from Koons. Nice detective work ;) Thanks DAVE for reminding about the MVA paperwork, will do it soon. My commute to work is 30 miles / round trip and I get almost 27-28 miles on pure EV (I'm sure 5-6 miles are regen). In a few weeks when EV+ gets enabled (after the system learns my driving patterns) maybe I can have 100% EV work commute. Then it will be "Bye Bye gas stations" !!!!

Just became the proud owner of a fully loaded 2013 Sterling Grey Titanium Energi :victory: Got it during the Labor Day Weekend sales. Still trying to figure out the electronics in the cockpit and various driver assistance features. The vibrating steering wheel freaked me out initially :) It will be a complete driving style change for me now. Previously it was "beat the clock" paradigm now it will be "beat the MPGe" ;)
