  1. I've also joined the Black Screen of Death club. The dealer will be replacing the APIM under the extended warranty I purchased with the car. Did anyone who had theirs replaced have trouble getting the work done? I'm over a month in to the process now with no end in sight. 3 days at the dealer to get the new parts ordered 3 1/2 weeks waiting for parts 5 days at the dealer (so far ) because some information is wrong on a ford server. Just got the call that it will be up to 5 more business days for ford to correct the information on their server. It seems like the dealer or Ford don't know what they're doing.
  2. I started with myfordmobile support because I didn't expect much out of the dealer. After a month or so I got back "It appears the issue is not with your app, but with the Vehicle HMI. Please make an appointment with your dealership to have them further investigate." I haven't bothered to take it back yet. My fuse is starting to get pretty worn from pulling it out so many times. The charge profile locations haven't worked for me either since the replacement.
  3. There is some signal in the parking garage it's just not very good. Before the replacement I got notifications when it finished charging and I do occasionally get them after the replacement. The video was taken the next morning in my driveway. It will stay like that until I pull the fuse to reset it.
  4. I contacted ford support about a week ago about the issues I am having. They said they would research it and get back to me. My modem seems to stop working most often when I park at work in an underground parking garage.   5. I had to pull the fuse again tonight. I think this is the 4th or 5th time since the modem was replaced. The fuse is starting to look pretty awful from all the times i've had to pull it. Has anybody had any luck talking to ford about this issue? I figure i'll have to bring it back to the dealer eventually but I have no faith that they'll actually be able to fix it unless ford has come up with a software or hardware fix.
  6. I've been having similar problems since the modem replacement. When it happens I can't change any go times or charge setings. Pulling the modem fuse will fix it for a few days.
  7. The Baby Jogger City Mini will also fit at least in the 2013 trunk. You have to put the front wheel on the bottom and put one of the side wheels on top of the battery.

  9. That sounds like what happens to me but I do have a Sony radio.
  10. This happens to me sometimes. All the normal beeps and warnings change to what sounds like a lower quality version and then they will go back to normal the next time I start the car. I haven't figured out if there is something I'm doing that causes it to happen.
  11. I have been having trouble with mine for the last few weeks. It started getting hard to open and just today it started not closing all the way. I'm hoping it gets better when the weather gets a bit warmer, if not I guess its time for another trip to the dealer.
  12. My 7am go time worked for the first time this morning. I guess it really is fixed.
  13. I think they fixed it. The car was still in the middle of charging and while I was sitting in it I used the app to set a go time for 15 minutes later. As soon as the time synced to the car the fans turned on and eventually the air got warm. The notes say they performed TSB 13-05-28 REPROGRAM FCIM TO LATEST CALIBRATION. We'll see what happens at the normally scheduled time tomorrow.
  14. I just picked mine up. It was in for the window one touch up and go times not working. I should know later tonight or tomorrow morning if it's working.

  16. I just called the dealer and will be bringing it in on 12/2. Did your go times work for charging? Mine will charge correctly if I set a go time that requires it to charge outside of the value charge times but i've never got the heat to work.
  17. I've had the car since August and now that the weather is getting colder I have been trying to get go times working to warm up the car for a few weeks. So far I haven't had any luck and I've been reading all the related posts hoping to find a solution. After reading your post above and a notification I just received I had an idea. Is it possible that the preconditioning is happening but not at the correct time? Maybe a certain number of hours offset from the schedule? I was changing notification settings yesterday and just got my first plug in reminder. My value charge profile starts at 7pm but the notification sent at 5:40pm said the charge was starting in 79 minutes at 2pm. Maybe the time being off in the notification is unrelated but i was curious if your car warmed up at some hour offset from your scheduled time.
