  1. It was 70 the other day here in Texas. I could understand getting poor mileage with freezing temps, but this bad score is showing all the time. Maybe a bad ambient sensor, but the outside temperature reading in the car is accurate. Really confused...
  2. Hello, Is anyone seeing a very poor outside temp/other score when you turn off your Fusion Energi? No matter what temperature it is outside, I always get a terrible score when turning off the car. PS - In order to see this score on the dashboard, you have to turn the car off with some HV battery charge remaining. Otherwise, it will say something like 'Thanks for driving a hybrid'. Any info would be a great help. I am getting around 17 miles per charge and think something is causing my battery to drain. FREE eBay image gallery | JPEGbay.com
  3. I have the same issue. 2017 FFE with 55k miles on it. I am only getting 15-16 miles per charge however, even though I still put in 5.2kw into the car when it charges. I used to get 25 miles per charge as early as last year, but now I don't even get close to that despite similar driving habits and temps that are mild (here in Dallas). I also thought the other metric might be causing the poor range, but I also don't know what that means. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  4. The temperature is reading properly in my car so I don't think that the temperature sensor is failing. I was curious if the battery sensor might be failing on the 12-volt battery. Or perhaps my 12 volt battery is failing and the high voltage battery is using its power to charge the 12 volt battery more than it should have to. I am still putting 5.3 kilowatts of power into my car whenever I fully charge it, so I know that degradation is not the issue. Something is causing the high voltage battery to drain and I think that's reflected in the outside temperature / other metric showing a red score when I turn the car off.
  5. What about folding down one or both of the rear seats while operating the car? This may more easily allow the cooler cabin AC to reach the HV battery keeping the temperature lower....
  6. The scoring bars are on the right side of the instrument cluster while the total distance, EV miles, Regen miles, etc are on the left.
  7. Question.... on the summary screen when you turn the car off, does it show a negative score for the climate control? I have a long green bar for the way I'm driving but climate control is always a big orange bar indicating a big drag on the battery. This bar is showing a poor score even if I'm not running the air conditioning during my trip. The outside temperature bar is more or less neutral. I would think the climate control would not be showing a negative score if the air conditioning is off during a trip. Can someone else check theirs and report back?
  8. I live in Dallas and over the past couple days, I've noticed that in EV only mode, I will get a message saying 'engine enabled for system performance'. It has been very hot here with air temperatures approaching 105 degrees. Is this the message you were seeing? Once this message is displayed, the engine always runs even if I have 20 miles of charge left on the HV battery. It also takes overnight in my garage for the battery to cool down enough for that message to go away. I've also noticed that the climate control summary whenever you shut the car off is a long orange bar indicating poor performance even if I take a trip not running the AC. Has anyone else noticed this as well or do you think I have some sort of climate control power drain on the HV battery? I'm thinking of taking the car in to have it checked out but if this is normal, I don't want to waste my time.
