    Which mode is best for highway driving with little to no traffic? Average highway speeds 65-75 mph... I would presume that putting it in EV later mode to take full advantage of hybrid mode is best. Versus EV now or Auto where you will run your battery pack down and then have little to no reserve and likely use the ICE more. But being new to the Plug in Hybrid world I do not know. Curious to see what other's thoughts and opinions are.

    I know many plug in EVs have the ability to lock the plug when plugged into your vehicle and it is charging. From what I can tell the Ford Energis do not have this ability. Mine is a 2017 Fusion Energi Platinum. Not sure why Ford would not have this ability as it would be a simple solenoid and notch in the car end of the plug. Am I mistaken and the Ford Energis DO have the ability to lock the charger?

    I have ordered a few things from Alibaba, but no electrical equipment. This is solely my opinion, but I don't know if I would trust an item from an unheard of company when it comes to charging a battery that is VERY expensive to replace. Even if under warranty they may ask, or even be able to tell it was charged with a unauthorized cord. Not to mention my paranoia about it possibly causing a fire. Just my thoughts. If you do pick up one please post your thoughts on it.

    Thanks Murphy and Timewellspent. I do have the funnel and it is in the rear battery door. much appreciated!

    In the indentation in the trunk for the 120v charging cable there is another indentation. However, my 2017 Fusion Energi does not have anything there. I have Googled and Googled, and searched the forums and cannot find what should be there. Any help is greatly appreciated.
