After slightly more then 4years, I traded my 2018 Fusion Energi Platinum for a 2022 Ranger lariat Tremor today. The Fusion was an amazing car, and I’ll miss its fuel efficiency. But it was the best time to trade it in. Got an amazing trade value. So to everyone here, I bid you farewell. And keep on enjoying these cars. They are very impressive and their efficiency will far exceed what they are rated for once you learn how to drive it. Sincerely John

I have twice now got a camera fault message come up saying it needs service I have not had the windshield replaced. And there’s no crack or dirt or any obstructions. Had anyone experienced this?

Well I had a great conversation with one of Michelin customer reps on Monday, and I’m happy to report they replaced the tire as a courtesy. I have always bought Michelin tires starting with the Xones years ago. For both my cars and sport bikes. Thank you Michelin, and I highly recommend this company for all you tire needs! For many different reasons. John Earley

I run 38psi. I have had higher but rides too rough. At the end of the day I was my fault. But I’m going to to call Michelin and see if they give me any kind of credit towards the new I had the dealer order. I’m not super hopeful but it’s worth the call

So yesterday when backing into a parking spot I hit the curb lightly. It was lightly enough that the rim never made contact with the curb. But it ripped the sidewall, right down to the cords. The tires have literally 11,000kms on them. So luckily I only have to replace the one! Point of this post, is be careful these tires seem to have soft sidewalls. My buddy who was with me and I couldn’t believe it ripped But it did.

Is there anything we can be doing to help the battery last?

Im going to remove winter rims and tires and put factory tires and rims on Sunday. I’ll look again The noise is coming from the front end. And last night I removed both front tires and couldn’t find anything. I was very clean in there

So last week I took my 2018 Energi down a muddy gravel road, and since I have been getting a squealing noise in the front end. Ive takin it to a car wash, power washed the rims wheel wells etc out. And tonight removed both front to tires see if it was a large stone caught in there somewhere!!! Cannot find anything wrong. But squealing noise still comes and goes. Im starting to wonder if its in the transmission Any ideas or thoughts on what this might be Te car only has 14,000kms on it

My screen does not show rear! and my seat warmers and ac seats area buttons not turned on using the touch screen
-
How do I turn on the rear vents for the heat in my 2018 platinum energi?
-
Man, it’s not even that cold yet here in Ontario and I’ve gone from Summer 35-37km per charge using AC on low To 20-22km per charge using heat under 70 degrees and seat warmer Tempatures around freezing Just awful!!!

I have a set of aluminum Ford Taurus rims. I google them and they come up as 5x108 bolt pattern 16” 5 spoke rims that I need for winter rims. Anyone able to confirm these rims would work for winter rims? Thxs John

So i took my month old 1900km Energi to New Orleans and Biloxi MS and it got me 47-49 imp mpg's running 110-120 km\hr I was hoping to squeeze a few more mpg's out of it, but all in all i was impressed Very easy car to drive with all the Technology in it, the stop and go is a real treat on super long drives. I did keep it charged up but didn't use EV all that much, preferred to toggle it to EV later as soon as i got in it to. Very comfortable car on the long 13-14hr drives. My 2cents

i agree 100% the AC works great just a tad noisy on the outside, and only when its fully cranked

Thank you for your reply Sure makes the car sound cheap! Love this car though!!!

So i am now i owner of a new 2018 FFE Platinum and im very impressed by this car. BUT here in SW Ontario we have been having a heat wave of mid 90's, so needless to say im running max AC till car has cooled off. Here's my question, anyone else have one hell of a buzzing racket under the hood when AC is on full blast? I really cheapins the car with that sound. It sounds like a bad bearing or something. Really hard to describe the sound, hoping someone else has or knows what it is and if its fixable? Thxs John E

Thanks for the replies. I have always had a 4X4 ford explorer for the winter beater\grocery but she\s done now. And i dont really want to drive the Focus RS in the winter so im considering a Energi as a daily driver. I definitely will buy winter tires and rims. Thanks for your input everyone

Wondering if any Canadians can shed some light on how these fusion energi's are for driving in snow?
