About AungJoMomma

  1. I just got mine at the end of December. I guess I worry a lot less because this is my third hybrid and my second plug in. I also had a LEAF. LOVED that car, but I moved back to IN from CO and the infrastructure just wasn't as good here. :( I've been reading your posts, OP and I think you're really just worrying unnecessarily. I loved my Prius and I love my Fusion. The plug in part will really benefit in warmer weather. It's been in the single and barely double digits here lately and my battery life is laughable. For the couple of freak warm days we've had, I was getting like 130 mpgs. I would imagine that when it warms up again, I'll be back there. Enjoy your car of the future!

    My Car

I just bought a Fusion Plug-in Energy SE Luxury. It's really pretty great. I started my journey in 2011 with a Nissan LEAF. Loved the car, but I was married then and we were a 2 car family. When I got divorced, I gout a Honda Insight. I liked it but it felt like a car you buy when you can't afford a Prius. It was totaled in a rear-end accident and I upgraded to the Prius. I loved it. It got great gas mileage and it had lots of options. I hate the new body style on the Prius so I bought a Fusion. I love this car. I love everything about it. It's been really cold here in the midwest, so I've only been averaging about 35 mpgs but we hit a warm-up and I'm in the 70's now. Here's to hoping I can keep that up!
  3. Every question I had was answered in this thread! Thanks! It is currently -6 with a low of -10 tonight and tomorrow. I have no idea what happened to our mild winter.
