About Fezbearer

  1. I just got my car, so I'm not going too be in the market for something new for a while. When the time comes, I guess I can always see what the other companies have to offer.
  2. Heh, I used to drive that thing twice a year. I was wondering what kind of recharge one would get driving over it. Not that I really want to because of all the potholes.
  3. My first car was an '84 Honda Civic. Ugly as sin, but ran like a champ. My first new car was a '02 Saturn SL1, damn thing finally gave up the ghost back in June.
  4. Like the Riggs said, switch to EV later to warm the car up. That said, I'm kind of lucky, since our winters are mild by comparison. I can usually get by with just putting the seat warmers on.
  5. The app stopped working for me a few weeks ago. Kind of sad, I liked being able to see the parking rates before I went into San Francisco and San Jose.
  6. In general, I'm not a big fan of extended warranties. That said, I did make an exception when I purchased my FFE SE a few months ago. Like Muzikman61, I felt it was worth it considering how many computers and electronics are in the car. Personally, I'd get it, just for the peace of mind. I'd also haggle and see if you can get the price knocked down.
  7. As a side note. If you have carplay disabled, you can still access your music files if the phone is still plugged in.
  8. That's my situation. I live on a hill, and can get a 5-10% recharge depending on traffic and if I hit the lights right.
  9. I was wondering the same thing. I checked around, and found that the answer is "no." If you want to see the power distribution while your phone is plugged into a USB port, you have to disable CarPlay.
  10. Yeah, I had that happen as well. I've supposedly done 20,000 miles, but my car only has a little over 3,000 miles. I pretty much only use the app to check the charging status while I'm grabbing a coffee or beer.
  11. Thats a great idea. I'm going to tie a cord to the release this weekend.

    Hey there

I recently picked up a new Fusion Energi after my 02 Saturn finally decided to give up the ghost. When the time came, I decided on the Energi due to my commute to and from work being about 18 miles. I'll admit, I looked at the Prius, but I couldn't really handle having the view in my rear view mirror being split up but that crossbar. Besides, I have always liked the look the the Fusions.
