When I put in my car's VIN the description says: "Transit Connect 2002-, 2.0 4V DOHC PFI Gas/Electric, White Platinum." Transit van?

A system reset will clear it. I had to reset to get voice control working again, and had to re-add my car in the app.

A different way to think about it is, a full EV has larger range and that full EV is likely to have more EV miles to empty than I have. If I want to stay in EV mode I need to charge more often, and am more dependent on chargers out in the wild. The full EV is likely to have enough charge to make it back home, but I understand that may not always be the case, and of course it makes sense to give up a charger to someone in that situation.

I heard 62 mph quoted as the top EV speed in a number of video reviews, and was surprised to find this in the manual: "For Fusion Energi vehicles, you can travel up to 85 mph [137 km/h] in EV mode."

This new version is really frustrating. The "remember me" option doesn't work. The only time I've seen it ask me for the PIN I set is if I lock the phone for a while, while the app is running. But although it asks me for my PIN, hitting the back button bypasses the password check. I have to type my email and password every time I start the app. It either asks me to set a PIN every time, or prompts me "am I sure?" every time I elect to not set a PIN. Hopefully another update is available soon.
