I just had this same exact thing occur to my 2016 Fusion Energi yesterday (The odd start up beep, warning on the Navigation System about it shutting down due to low power, and the check engine light with the lovely wrench). I plan on taking it to the dealership tomorrow - curious if you were able to figure out what the root cause was?
