I noticed the same thing soon after setting up CarPlay. Fezbearer is correct. Once you enable CarPlay, then plug in your USB your iPhone takes over. :-(

I picked up a used 2017 FFE (Titanium) a few weeks ago and absolutely love it. It's completely changed my driving habits for the better. I gave my 2011 Chevy Equinox to my 16 year old, but after using all of the safety features of the FFE, I'm considering trading in the Equinox for a FFE for him too! :-) Nice to find this Forum and meet you.

Do you plan to grid tie your panels, plug directly into your EVSE or plug into a battery for charging at night while you sleep? I added both of you since I find this topic awesome!
