  1. Both pads had worn unevenly and the slide pins grease had totally dried up. I replaced pads and rotors and cleaned the pins and greased them properly. Torqued my wheels and brakes are perfect now. I will check the pins again this spring when I swap the brake fluid out. Cheers Mike
  2. Thanks it took several attempts but I was able to have it enter "in" and "out" of maintenance mode. All the best Mike
  3. I need to replace the rear pads and rotors on my 2015 Fusion Energi (~62k miles). Based on what I have read online I need to put the rear calipers electric actuators controlling the parking brake function in "maintenance" (service) mode before I can attempt to retract them to make way for the new pads. Once the work is done I will need to take them out of maintenance mode to drive the car again. I tried the following sequence that I found on YouTube unfortunately it is not Fusion Energi specific. -put key in "on" (not start position) -simultaneously press the accelerator to the floor and press the e-brake switch down (dis-engage) hold position on both items -turn the key "off" -Turn the key "on" within 5 seconds of shutting it off Left most display screen should indicate that the rear brakes are in maintenance mode. Well o tried this a couple of times and it did not work. is this sequence correct? Taking it out of maintenance mode requires you to do the same only this time holding the e-brake switch up (engage) and cycling the switch on and off. Thanks for looking OldManMike
  4. Check your to "go settings" and your "value charge" settings. You have to do this from the web not the app using your phone or PC. Sounds like your car is in a "value charge" state. For example if you value period is from midnight to 5 AM and your battery is very low, and you plug your car in at 6PM when you get home Then the following will happen. The car will charge immediately until the battery has accumulated Enough charge to go 3 miles or 10% charge. Once this level has been achieved it will stop charging and wait for you value charge period. Here is another gate, I think if you have no to go period it will start charging at midnight. If you have a to go time it will complete its charge about 30 minutes before you are scheduled to leave. I use this all the time and it works great. Hope this was helpful. I have been living with my Fusion Energi for a year and it has been great. All the best Mike
