  1. This is very concerning. Did either dealer tell you that this is normal "wear and tear" or something else. Wondering if it's an underlying issue with these cars. What year is yours?
  2. Oh wow. Has it had any effect on the car for day to day stuff? Just left a message with my guy at the dealer and waiting to hear back. It's only been two months which is why it is a little concerning
  3. Hey all, Have had my '17 FFE for a little over two months now and this morning when I started up the orange wrench lie up. Can anyone shed some light? Thanks
  4. https://imgur.com/gallery/rMhcW Wasn't able to do the chrome window trim it was really hard to tape off. Black grille is the way to go
  5. Maybe plasti dip the chrome part on it but I like em Personally I don't see a lot of energi's with black rims so maybe that's why I like. I plasti dipped my stock ones and I love how they look.
  6. Love the lowered look! Do you find any issues with dips in the street and hitting the bumper?
  7. Yea I have everything else blacked out. Love the look of the grille with black. The strip on the back will look SO much better once it's done. It's just bugging me now lol
  8. Well I tried plasti dipping the chrome trim on my 17 FFE and no success. The weather stripping on the top makes it really difficult. I'm super bummed
  9. You talking about the small chrome slits on the door handles? Had mine vinyl wrapped I'm gonna attempt to plasti dip my window trim on my own. Watched a few videos and it doesn't seem hard. I had someone else do the wheels, grille and emblems so this will be my first go at it
  10. Hey everyone, Noob to the forum but not new to fusions. Replaced my 2013 S with a 2017 Energi SE and I've plasti dipped nearly all of the chrome on the car except for the chrome window trim. Has anyone ever replaced their chrome with black and how did you go about doing so? Thanks guys
