My telematics unit was not transmitting properly until I did the reprogramming. It would communicate with myfordmobile (website and app) for a couple weeks, then fail to communicate until it was reset. After the reprogramming, it's been online 99% of the time. I had it reprogrammed since the beginning of May. There was a small quirk from the reprogramming that's probably limited to my car. After it was reprogrammed, every time I started the car, it would try to "navigate home" on the built-in navi no matter what the settings were when I turned off the car. I fixed that by deleting the home address, then adding it back in.

This means you generated as much energy through brake regen as you used to get the vehicle up to speed. It's not always an error. For instance, if you start rolling from the top of a hill, and end up at the bottom of the hill 3 miles down the road, you will use up no energy to go 3 miles since the engine won't kick on and you are using brake regen to keep the car from running away.
