  1. 6 days after getting the car we have experienced the "no key detected" problem. My wife have spend over an hour on the phone with the Ford tech trying to get it to start again but no luck. Funny thing was the tech told us they have never seen or heard of this issue after looking through their data base. But I just did a simple search on the web I was able to find a link to this article as well as the same problem found in other Ford vehicle. Anyways I started to do some troubleshooting of my own, and at first I was suspecting the two key possibility but I can't seems to dupercate the issue consistently. The other suspicion I have is that the night prior to this issue happening I had just brought a USB flash drive and I loaded with music files and put it into the car. During troubleshooting I pulled out th USB and the car started fine. But again, I can't seems to pin point this at this time with just one try, so I am going to drive the car without the USB for couple of weeks unless this issue happens again without the USB in it.(then I know it is not the USB) If after a couple of weeks and nothing happens, I will put back the USB and see if the "no key found" issue will come back. If anyone else have similar experience or any hints or clues, please post and share. I believe if this is happening with enough of us, and with sufficient leads we can probably find the root cause faster than Ford can. (Unless it is really a software issue) By the way I thought about bring it to the dealer to see if they can help, but after reading all the posts I also didn't see the point of that if I can not reproduce the problem consistently.
  2. Oh wait a minute, how did that number come out like that. Sorry the total price after the $6,000 discount is $36,585. I was looking at Steeler75's number and accidentally type that in. I thought I had a good deal but it looks like Steeler75 had a better one.
  3. MSRP $42,585 Dealer discount. $6,000 total Price $36.330 The discount over the the weekend was up to $6,500 if you had a trade in. But in my case it was just $6,000 without the trade in.
  4. Just pick up the Fusion Energi Titanium today for $6K below MSRP, which was even below the Truecar chart for the same configure car. I think it was just a combination between the Memorial's day sale + end of the month + doing the homework by bring in some other dealer's pricing and have this dealer beat it. Also, it didn't hurt to by telling the sales guy that we were willing to take a car off his lot today if the pricing is right. Since this weekend the dealership are expecting a lot of potential sale, they didn't waste any of my time haggling with me.
