Yes, I do have the .xml file with my VIN number. What didn't work was the upload on the website. I used the link to "Report" my update. Just like it tells you to on the website I "Selected" the .xml file with my VIN number on the USB drive. But then nothing happens afterwards. I tried it several times. I opened the "SyncMyRide" folder, clicked on the .xml file and then clicked "open". But nothing happens after that?

Thank you Eric4539 for the files and the instructions. Installed it yesterday. Worked like a charm. The only thing that I couldn't get to work was uploading the .xml file to the Ford website to report the latest update. Correct me if I am wrong but I don't think this is really that important. Thanks for all the help everybody.

I just recently bought a 2015 Fusion Energi. It has the SYNC GEN2 3.7 version installed. If I go to the SYNC update website it tells me for some reason that I have the latest update installed, which is 3.7? Is there another way to get the 3.8 update?
