About Rhyalus

  1. Ah, I did not know that. Thanks... So we are at the mercy of the service guys to find out if there is a TSB, eh? That kind of stinks. R
  2. How about TSBs AFTER the time the thread was locked? Unless this is being updated each time one comes out and THEN it is locked? Thanks, R
  3. Hello, Why is the pinned thread locked at the top of this forum? Where is the best place to go to find all TSB's before bringing in the car for service? Thanks, R
  4. Wow, my google maps does this but not as much. Just when there is a split in the main highway. FYI, I never use the nav in the Ford. I like having the map, but voice recognition and use in MFT sucks so bad, I can't use it. R
  5. So how would this impact your behavior? It probably is not a big deal... R
  6. Drive the car in Empower mode and just look at the amount of power. I think you can see the difference between L and D very clearly... At least in my car.... R
  7. If you watch the amount of battery energy used while driving in L, it is obvious that it uses more energy than D. You may get more regen, but the cost is not worth it. There may be some dependency on the road grades, but for flat road driving, L is a bad choice. R
  8. Empower all the way...you can indeed see when both the gas and electric engine/drive is running. At first I thought that Engage was better, but Empower shows you when the battery is charging or draining... R
  9. Not meaning to hijack this thread, but have you guys noticed the standard charging cable getting warm? (without an extension cord) R
  10. I really don't see the benefit of EV now unless you want to sneak up on someone in electric mode. :-) I use EV Auto unless I am going on a highway (at which point I switch to EV later). This reserves EV power for when I am on city streets and may get some regen. R
  11. Wow, I hope they did something special for you... this does not happen too often... R
  12. Ha! I can see a Star Trek insignia or maybe the Rebel Alliance insignia from Star Wars.... :-)
  13. Yup... It will go to houses next for you... :-) R
  14. I am not a fan of these, either. When I want my lights on, I just turn them on. DRLs are a discount for insurance, however. That is one vote in their favor. R
  15. Not sure if this is exactly what you are looking for, but check this out... http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/Find.do?action=phev1Prompt You may also want to use the http://phev.myfordmobile.com site, where you can look at cool stuff like this; In this case I selected my old Altima 2003 that used to get around 26-27 MPG.
