About Cornstalks@yahoo.com

  1. Seems to work most of the time now. The trick for me was to make sure when you park the car, the climate power is on, and it is set to auto. That seems to be the voodoo that's working for me.
  2. Oh well, still nothing. Now I keep getting alerts for value charging schedule, which I've never set up. Crazy, Crazy...
  3. I checked it this A.M. The app was correct, the car time was correct, but the website had me in Hawaii. So maybe you're on to something. I'll keep trying, I'm stubborn that way!
  4. So I'm not the only one. I'm thinking it's the clock. That damn clock has always been wonky between the car and the app. I got a message in a activities today saying my vehicle is scheduled to begin charging soon at 1:09 pm. I've never set up a charge time or a value charge schedule. So when I posted this, at 12:24pm today, I removed the go times schedule from the app, and a bit later I get a notice saying Go Times have been synced at 5:14pm. Right now it's 3:47pm. Demonic possession? I have a 240 volt EVSE. So power's not the issue.
  5. Maybe I'm missing something here. I'd set up Go Time for 7:30 am M-F at 72 degrees, as its been quite cold here in the Mountains of North Crackalacky. Car wasn't preconditioned this morning, and the app says remote start completed at 10:58pm last night, and I was in bed out like a light. I've also tried using the remote start on the app, but when I go out to the car the climate control isn't on, and the car is just sitting there lit up asking for the key to start driving. So anyone have an idea what am I missing here? I thought I was fairly tech savvy until I got hold of this myfordmobile : )
  6. I like 'em. That's the downside, I hate the rims on my 2016. It's like they just made the ugliest wheels the could.
  7. We drove a Volt, and then the Energi a week later. The Volt just felt like a toy compared to the Fusion Energi. I'm a big guy, the Volt was a little cramped, and my 8 year old immediately stated that we couldn't buy the Volt because the seats weren't comfortable. (Mouth of babes...). I'd love the EV range of the Volt, but just couldn't do it. Our Ford dealer was looking to unload this 2016 apparently, purchased it almost $10,000 below sticker. Doesn't have all the driver assist as the titanium, but so far I'm digging it. Our daily round trip commute can be made on all EV so far, that's to and from work, with 2 detours to drop off and pick up the boy at his school. 10 days, and as far as I know haven't used an ounce of gasoline. I was paying for parking in a downtown lot, 2 free charging stations sit empty most all the time right beside my leased space. That's what got me looking at EV's initially. I just wish instead of the Sync the Ford had the Apple software. The Sync/entertainment/nav system is a little wonky. Installed my GE Durastation at home this weekend, so it's all good so far!
  8. Hope It's going to be a good one! Drove A Volt last weekend, bought a Fusion Energi today. Gonna be tough going here in the mountains. of NC, 1 charging station in the whole town. Anyway, Hello! Cornstalks
