  1. Wonderful, thank you for the response. It was only 3 weeks ago on June 22nd they replaced the sensor and it has worked fine since, until today. I live in Los Angeles and it hasn't rained here in weeks, I'm concerned that it could have corroded that quickly.
  2. Hello all, I was hoping to find out if this is a fault with my car, or a known fault across the line of cars. I have a faulty external temperature gauge read out. It sits at 50 degrees. This happened about 4 weeks ago and ford replaced the sensor. It has since worked but once again stopped working. It seems to sometimes read correctly and then randomly change with no warning. Currently it is stuck on the incorrect temperature. It was the same pattern before having it changed but it seems to new part is doing the same thing. Any advice on this? It is a shame as I love the car but had so many problems, I am tempted to ask ford for a replacement vehicle. Thank you :)
  3. Hey everyone! I have a question for you. This evening I charged my car from 0-48% while shopping, this gave me a total of 8 miles. My commute home was 12 miles and half was uphill, half downhill. The uphill portion I used EV later but the second half of the journey was all EV. My commute summary said something like "total miles 12.3, EV miles 7.2 and regen 1.5". I am getting confused because when I arrived home, my battery was still around 40% with 7 EV miles remaining. How did I manage to make this trip, keep my EV miles and still travel 7.2 EV. Is this because of the hybrid mode and simply my downhill driving for a few miles? I am confused how it all works! Thank you.
  4. Hello all, I have my Fusion set up with a value charge home profile, but find when I arrive home, the lower left part of the screen where it states "next charge" gives a 240V charge time of about 2.7hrs, even though I have only been using the 110V supplied charge cord from Ford which takes much longer. Is this a default setting for all profiles to give you the start and end time of the fastest charge? Or should this be showing the typical 6 hour time window it usually takes to charge my car. It displays incorrectly when the car is unplugged but after plugging in, things seem to update fine. Thanks all!
  5. Good Morning everyone from sunny (and a hot) California! This is my first post on the Fusion Energi forum. I have a question for you all about cleaning our Fusions. I am a huge car cleaning fanatic, but just wondering how we go about cleaning around the charge port. Should this area be avoided with a jet wash or hose for example? I am concerned about water getting into the electric charge port. Now I am sure Ford has designed the car with this in mind, but would like some input :) Thanks for such a great forum and community everyone! Tim.
