I've had a "buzzing" type of noise that happens when you accelerate. The first time I brought in it was diagnosed as "rain sensor trim panel at fault" and they installed an anti-squak and rattle tape to all edges and contact surfaces. This lasted for a day and the buzzing/rattling is back now and quite annoying!

This is a huge help...and I am so not surprised by the maximum charge then! I do have to improve my brake score and try and go easier on the highway where I do most of my driving.

I do have the HVAC left on when I turn it off, but would that affect it charging all the way back up to what it should be? Right now its charging and it just completed at 17mi! Thanks for the help!

Have had my Clipper Creek installed and using it for over a week now. Only once did I get a full charge to 21mi. The rest of the charges have been to 19 and 17miles. Is there a reason it won't charge until 21mi?

Well at least I know nothing is wrong with the car - thanks!

Last night while driving home the strangest thing happened - the brights would go on automatically every now and then and my hands were nowhere near the lever. Is there a setting that if the street is too dark they go on automatically?

In the past few days, when I have finished a phone call, the MyFord Touch apparently does not want the call to end and freezes everything. I've tried restarting the phone itself so that it would disconnect and it doesn't work. So unless I pull over, shut the car off and start all over again I cannot get the radio back on or any other feature (and even when I did this a few times it still didn't work). The screen also disappears eventually and after about 5-10 minutes Sync appears and that's about it. It's a crapshoot whether or not I get everything back. WTF? On a $43K car, why is this happening and is there anything I can do to fix this? Thanks -

Today was first day with car and had a good time watching all the EV lights do their thing. However if I didn't have the radio on I wold hear a buzzing, almost rattling sound coming from the passenger side. At first I thought maybe it was the glove compartment not fully secured, but then even with the glove compartment open the noise continued. Anyone else have this problem and have a clue what it is? Thanks

Car Delivered with little electric charge...
mets67 replied to mets67's topic in Buying, Leasing & Ordering
Made my appointment 5 days out so they had plenty of time to charge it. Called dealership today and they said the L2 charger was in a place where the parking lot was under construction - funny because it wasn't yesterday when I picked up the car. In any case, pulled the car up to the front of the house and its charging on the 120v - 1/4 way done; 5 more hours to go! -
Getting Apps in the Car - How do you do it?
mets67 replied to mets67's topic in Audio, Navigation & SYNC
Just updated Firefox and went through all the warnings and it worked. Downloaded the update on a USB and went to the car to Install Apps/Software Update and did it - said updating 1 of 0 so not sure if it really downloaded the update or not. Do you really have to leave the car on for 25-35 minutes before downloading? -
Got my Fusion Energi Titanium yesterday and playing around with all the cool stuff. However the car was delivered with very little electric charge (only 3 miles worth) and I have to wait another week for the installation of charging station. Shouldn't the car be delivered fully charged?

Getting Apps in the Car - How do you do it?
mets67 replied to mets67's topic in Audio, Navigation & SYNC
Thanks. Have a Mac computer and have tried all three browsers (Safari, Firefox and Chrome) to download an update. Get a message in each of them re: Java not being enabled, however it is. Anyone else have this problem and suggested fixes? -
Picked up my car yesterday and on the passenger side there was a dash/ding in one of the "metal" strips. The dealership ordered a replacement part and marked it on my record, although a new car should be delivered flawless. Hopefully that metal strip just pops out and doesn't screw up the rest of that area!

Getting Apps in the Car - How do you do it?
mets67 replied to mets67's topic in Audio, Navigation & SYNC
Not sure if this is the same thing, but how do I install an update and where do I find this if its not the same? Do i need a jump drive/USB or will the car automatically do it? Thanks!!!! -
Getting Apps in the Car - How do you do it?

Thanks, I'll try that. I did find something in one of the menus to Install Apps, but guess that function is not yet working? Thanks again! -
Just picked up my Fusion Energi Titanium today!! Getting used to this technology (have a Lexus also that is much more intuitive). One thing I can't figure out for the life of me is how to get apps (like Pandora, etc which is already on my phone) in my car or where I would download a program from the Google Play store for Android. I'm sure its right in front of my face, but can't seem to find it! Thanks!

Picking up my Fusion Energi Titanium this Saturday!! And now that I found an electrician that will not charge me an arm and a leg to trench out to where the charging station needs to be installed, I am going to go with a 240v level 2. I've been reading different things on this forum as well as others about the Clipper Creek LCS-25 and the Leviton EVB32-8ML. Clipper Creek costs $595 and Leviton $899. Besides the $300 price difference are there ant other differences which would warrant spending the extra $300?

Just got some estimates to put a level 2 charging station in. Since my driveway is long (no garage) and the car is parked 60 ft from the house, there would need to be a lot of trenching work plus a sub-panel put in. The cost for the electric work would be about $2K, which if it included the unit I would do. I do have another option that would cost only $250-300. Have pier lights where I park the car and the electrician can split the line and add a 120v outlet onto the pier bricks. This seems like a better alternative for me as I will only be charging the car overnight anyway. However, can I charge the car on the same circuit as these lights (they only take 2amps total as they have fluorescent bulbs) or does the car need its own separate circuit? And how many amps does the Fusion Energi use when its charging? Hope this all makes sense! Thanks -

How to Read Window Sticker to Find Build/Ship Date
mets67 replied to mets67's topic in Buying, Leasing & Ordering
Thanks for the tip. It says the build date was April 27th. Pretty cool...and the window sticker has DR30. Any idea of what this might mean in terms of ship date - how long after the build is a car shipped? Thanks again, this was so helpful! -
Can't wait to get my car! Trying to figure out how to read window sticker to see build date/ship date. There is a date on the bottom next to where it says method of transportation (Rail). There's a whole bunch of numbers and letter and then the date 4/19/13. Does this mean it was shipped on 4/19/13 or scheduled to be built on this day. And if it was built on this day how long does it take to build then ship approximately?

Thanks for posting. How much is the monthly lease (did you put anything down too or do sign and drive). Thanks.
