  1. Now it's all back to normal and reporting everything, so it was down about 16 hours for me. I'll still try the iOS this evening to see if I'm getting all the same info.
  2. No, I'm on Android. I can try iOS later this evening.
  3. As of yesterday I get a "Fordpass is not responding" on my current Charge Session, also tells me "some info is missing" but still gives me the banner at the bottom with the finish time estimate, but when I click Details I have nothing. It's still saving charge logs and giving me notifications, so I'm hoping this is them working on the back end of the app? I didn't change anything on the car recently..
  4. As of today I am the proud owner of a Fully Charged Notification. Even though in the app if I set it, it just spins, I still got it at 80%.
  5. This was also the first time I was able to get info from the Charge Log. Still no Charge Complete notification though. Little something more each try. 7D is the way.
  6. In the Cmax forum CR08 posted this info: This is 100% where mine is at as well. I just went through and compared notes on what I see with my app vs what you mentioned here and it's all identical. The assumption so far from multiple people is it is all on Ford's end and they still need to get FordPass fully functioning with these new features for us ( @bookemdano and I had a brief discussion on this stuff with F150chief over on the CyanLabs boards and that seems to be his thoughts as well. Did get some new and useful info on that front which I'll post below.). So it's largely a waiting game. Once again thanks goes out to F150chief over at CyanLabs for providing some more useful knowledge concerning these TCU's and the AsBuilt configs. You can read the whole thread as it is currently here: TCU HJ5T Asbuilt Discussion - Ford / AsBuilt Configuration - CyanLabs Official Community We had originally assumed the 754-03-xx blocks were just garbage or storage bits. But apparently these are additional configuration options to tell the TCU what various bits of data to pull from the vehicle and send back to Ford. 7D indicates the data should be pulled and sent back. 7C ignores that bit of data. Unfortunately there's no insight to what each individual bit corresponds to. Based on the discussion, it seems like it is harmless just to set everything to 7D to enable ALL THE THINGS and send it to Ford. It is still then up to them to populate and display this data on their end in the app. I have went ahead on mine and did just this and enabled all those bits. No new data just yet but as always I'll keep you posted if anything changes on this front. Just as a quick FYI on the AsBuilt stuff that I've briefly mentioned here previously: With ForScan, the last two bits in each individual block are checksum bits. So in the case of these changes to the 754-03-xx blocks, they won't show or even be able to be set to 7D. You can enter anything in these bits and ForScan will just recalculate what should be there when you go to write it to the module. Edited April 2, 2022 at 02:42 PM by cr08 This morning I tried to do just this and change everything that was a 7C to a 7D. I didn't reset Sync or anything, but for the first time ever I'm able to see the address where I'm charging, as well as how long it's been charging and distance added. I'll see how the charging cycle goes, my next hope is that one day I get a notification when it's done charging. I know with Myford Mobile it also told you when the alarm goes off.. Does Fordpass do the same thing when it's working as intended? -Matt
  7. That's one thing that still hasn't populated for me is the Time on Charger / Distance Added stuff.. All I get is the current % of the charge and estimated finish time. I'm happy to have this info, but would like to get what you are getting. Granted I'm one of the DIY group so I may just be stuck for awhile. Can you set a Charge Level Notification that works? I still don't get anything pushed from the app. -Matt
  8. I agree it's unfair and a bonehead move by Ford, but they are playing the numbers that not enough Energi owners really care enough. Best case you can get a free modem replacement 3-4 years from now, and that's if everything falls into place perfectly. It was a simple risk assessment. That being said if you complain loud enough and to the right people you could probably get a free swap, but it would be a full time affair.
  9. Yet another update: After talking to a gentleman on the cyanlabs forums I was able to get the 754-02-01 setting from a 2020 Fusion owner who had the upgrade done at the dealer and everything works. Turned out his setting is 1EA0 and mine was (after reading on here) was 00A0. I made that change and did a master reset of Sync and now I have ALL the options under Charging as well as the Details of the current charge, finally. Only thing I can't do yet is have a charge level notification, and the charge log looks like it works. Still get an error when remote starting, but the last 24 hours have really brought it to 95% of what I hoped. I also have Oil Life listed now as well for the first time. Hell of a journey so far.
  10. Firmware UPDATE: Instead of sleeping I decided to give updating the firmware a shot. Everything updated to -UM in about 1 hour and 45 minutes. Went smooth with no errors. I'm not expecting much 20 minutes after but what I have noticed so far is Fordpass is updating MUCH faster now when I refresh. I am finally able to set departure times successfully. After I set them in the app I went out to the car and they were there under GO times. I still get the error about not being able to start the car as it starts it just fine. Another baby step in the right direction..
  11. Wow, I really didn't know that, but now that I downloaded it and set it up I can indeed see that I have the option to load -UM. Thanks! I guess I know what I'm going to be doing tomorrow then after I get the battery charger on it, as well as wired internet. I hope to break the record of 72% for the weekend guinea pigs.
  12. Since I have a HJ5T-14G087-UF I could just pay the dealer to put the -UM file on it for $165. I can't upgrade my Forscan to even try what you are doing, so I may end up doing that. I was lucky enough to find a dealer who was actually curious about the situation and quoted me that price, but of course no promise it's going to work.
  13. This is like waiting for a baby to be born or something, everyone sitting around wondering what is going to happen. In theory could we just buy the DS7Z-14G229-A ford part and put it in with a little Forscan 754-xx-xx adjustments or is there further programming we would need? That part number seems to be associated with some replacements people are getting with the dealer service.
  14. I will be very interested in hearing your results and what populates in Fordpass. I have the "H" TCU and after 5 days or so I'm still waiting for the remote control of the charge to populate, along with the status updates of charging banner to appear.
  15. Under the assumption that there would be a 4G modem in the 2020 Energi, would it also be safe to assume that it should have an entry for 754-02-01? If I select a VIN# for a car that is for sale (2020 Fusion Energi) and go to the motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt and take a look it doesn't list a 754-02-01 entry. If you look up a random regular hybrid fusion there are 754's all over the place, but the 2020 Enegi (just like my 2019 before my modem install) there is but one single 754-xx-xx line (being the 3G modem). Unless for some reason they would put all that secret 4G stuff somewhere else in the AsBuilt
  16. I wouldn't be shy about chatting with support on the Fordpass app on the issue just to "verify" it's a known issue, they have to log all the complaints and the more of us they hear from I'm hoping the harder they will work on it.
  17. I did the DIY modem install from a 2017 Escape and even though I have all the same settings you have in my 2019 Fusion Energi I do not even have the option to turn the 'Charge Level Notification' on. I did chat with Fordpass help in the app and they confirmed it's a feature that is not ready for those who have the new 4G modem. Even though I know for sure there are CMAX Energi users who have this magically show up after awhile. From what I'm finding out it's something Fordpass needs to work out. At least that's what I'm hoping. I have a bug where I can remote start but it tells me it failed, after starting the car.
  18. Many thanks CR08! My Summary and current results: 2019 Fusion Energi Replaced modem with a HJ5T-14G087-UF from a 2017 Escape. As figured I had to change the setting to 754-01-01: B862. 754-02-01 I left it at 00E0 because that was the default and since there is no AsBuilt number for it I figured I'd leave it alone. I was able to unlock / lock AND start the car but every time I did the remote start it reported that it wasn't able to start it, even though it had started the car. I was not able to set charge times and as soon as I clicked on the options it told me the app wasn't responding. I also had a vehicle alert for low washer fluid that I couldn't seem to clear (even though it was not active in the car itself.) When CR08 posted his 754-02-01 data today I went out and changed mine to 00A0. Everything was the same for awhile until about an hour ago.. All of a sudden my vehicle alert cleared and now I'm able to see and select departure times. However when it tried to send the times to the car it stayed on the loading screen and spun around for awhile and said Fordpass wasn't responding. It's progress but I'll keep trying. I still get the error when I try to remote start, even though it starts the car. I'm also NOT getting any of the current charging details like how long until charged or anything like that. I'm hoping that shows up soon. I also am not able to set any GO times or anything in the car itself, or add value charge times through Sync in the car. It's something new every day so far. But for $120 + $9 for the LTE antenna I'm not going to complain too loud.
  19. What is the best way to update the firmware on those? I can look at my HJ5T-14G087-UF modem that I installed and can see that the latest firmware available is the -UM in Forscan, but can't seem to find a way to go thru that long process of loading the firmware in, unless I'm using Forscan wrong, which is very possible.
  20. Thanks for that update and those references. I think I'm going to try to DYI my 2019 Fusion Energi. The only unit I can seem to see in stock without scouring the internet is the HJ5T-14G087-UF from a 2017 Escape. All I should need is that 4G antenna from Amazon that everyone has been linking, and the USB / OBD2 Forscan stuff (along with the program and laptop) then I should be at least able to use Fordpass after activation? Currently I don't have the need for any value charging options, so I don't mind missing out on that. Thank for clarifying.. Matt
  21. I'm in the same boat as a lot of you with a 2019 Energi. Are we willing to explore the option of after market remote starters? I know it won't get the same info when it comes to charging and other info, but the latest ones from companies like 12Volt Solutions make easy to install LTE based starters that can do some of the same stuff. For me it's getting to a point where I would give another company $450 for a remote start I can put in myself than giving more money to Ford after being treated like this.
