  1. Could be a state thing also. May be NY has more incentives applied compared to Michigan ?? Also looking at the Finance calculator on ford.com for 24 month lease it comes to $330/month
  2. Yes, with the lease they always want us back at their doorstep ;) where did you see this 6257 ? I just went to the ford.com and by choosing the build option for Energi SE, I see this: MSRP: 33,900 Destination: 875 Total 34,775 Incentives: 8757 =Net Price: 26,018. And this 8757 is what my dealer said I could get on a lease and NOT on a finance. For finance its just 450 + whatever the tax credit we get year end -4007 or less as you mentioned above.
  3. Thanks for the quick responses. Still I can't understand why they have more incentives applied on a lease ($8757) vs. finance ($450 + $4007 tax credit= total $4507). If they can get you $8757 incentive with finance, then I think it makes more sense to buy than lease the car. I am still working on with the numbers w/ the Ford SA.
  4. Hi, has anyone leased/ purchased Ford Fusion Energi recently ? Ford site quotes RCL Customer Cash Incentive (#50348) for $8,757 and when I spoke to a Ford dealer in Westchester, NY area he says the incentive is only towards a lease and NOT for a purchase/finance. For purchase you are only entitled to $450 incentive (Ford credit retail bonus) and another $4007 as tax credit. Is this true ? Our current lease 2015 VW got totaled and I ended up losing the upfront costs that I had paid. Lesson learnt, so I am going with $0 down this time. The lease quote I got from the dealer: Retail price: 35,570 Sale price: 34,395 Govt fees: 358.50 Cap Taxes: 1,527.79 Acq fee: 645 Accessories: 150 ------------------------------ Gross Cap cost: $36,753.79 Rebate: $8,757 Cash down: $0 ------------------------------- Net Cap Cost: $27,996.79 ------------------------------- Lease term: 24 months, 10,500 miles, Residual 55% - Payment: $399 /month Is this good price ? If I can get this $8,757 rebate along w/ Tax credit, I prefer financing this rather than leasing. Thanks,
