Best place to sell a 2019 Energi online
Spartyof83 replied to Spartyof83's topic in Buying, Leasing & Ordering
Thanks everyone! Sold to Carvana for $25,750! 40,920 miles, was in great condition. I couldn't get anywhere near that amount from anyone else. -

As the former owner of a 2013 Energi and a current owner of a 2019 Energi, I am just curious what the highest number of miles anyone out there in the Energi World has put on their vehicles? Have they held up well? Looking forward to the responses. I had over 113,000 miles on my 2013 before I traded it in for a 2019. Both cars were very low maintenance, no issues!

Has anyone transitioned to ALL WEATHER tires year round like the Michelin Crossclimate 2? I live in Michigan and swapping tires is expensive, not to mention a pain to do and to store a dedicated set. I was wondering if anyone has done this yet with an Energi and if so what results they had with MPG hit and traction in general?

I'm getting out of a 3 year lease for my 2019 Fusion Energi soon and was wondering if anyone had any thoughts as to what online marketplace would be the best to sell it on? I have approximately 42,000 miles, and two sets of wheels (winter tires). The car is immaculate, and has the premium red color and engine block heater. Only thing I didn't get was the sunroof. What would you guys recommend as to the best place to sell it?

Highest Mileage Achieved w/Energi's Out There

Thanks for the input!! Very helpful! -
Hey Everyone, I've had two Energi's, a 2013 and my current 2019. I am considering buying the car off lease soon and typically, when I buy a car, I like to hold onto it for a minimum of 10 years. Based on everyone's experience out there, what is a realistic mileage for the long haulers? I've personally never known anyone with an Energi that's had it for longer than 110k but I am sure they are out there. I'd really like to know that I can get some practical utility out of the battery beyond say 125k but I may just be too optimistic. What do you all think? I live in SE Michigan, and typically charge on a 110v each day.

Setting for Instantaneous Gas Mileage on 2019 Energi
Spartyof83 posted a topic in General Discussion
Hey everyone, I've just taken delivery on a 2019 Energi and I'm trying to figure out which setting gives me the instant MPG on the left side of the driver display. I owned a 2013 Energi and that one was pretty clear, but I see they've changed it for this model. Also, whatever display I set it on (or so I think I've set it) always goes away and it just sets back to the battery capacity window setting when I restart the car. Any advice? -
I think for the most part, Ford is having a really hard time selling the Energi, and between Ford's incentives and the Federal Tax Credit, the Energi is actually a better value than the Hybrid model. Having owned a 2013 Energi Titanium since its inception, I see very little real difference in the upcoming 2019 model and the one I own except for some added tech and some additional (very few) e-miles and yes, the same amount of space in the trunk. One last question....is this battery air or liquid cooled? Anyone know?

I'm considering the 2019 Energi but haven't decided if I want to buy or lease. The lease offers on the Ford Website where you can build your Energi as you'd like it says there are $10,007 worth of incentives if you lease vs. $1,000 if you buy. Granted, I believe they give you the Federal Tax Credit for the Plug in, which is worth around $4,500 I am guessing, but what about the balance? Why so much more of an incentive to lease vs. buy? A sub topic.....if I do indeed choose to buy, is this a car that I can legitimately keep for say, 10 years without major issues? Thanks, everyone for your input.

I am wondering if the factory installed block heaters will have this issue? Sounds like yours was bought from Ford as an aftermarket part, no?

Has anyone ordered one of these for their Energi? I am curious what the value is of having this on this particular vehicle? Anyone have any experience with this?
