I just had this issue happen to me this morning. It worked great the other day, try it this morning and it doesn't. Seems like it would be a simple thing, but who knows.

I'm wondering if setting the heated seat to medium and temperature to low 60s might be more efficient during winter months. When I turned on my heated seat the other day the energy consumption definitely looked significantly less than using normal car heat.

The only time I have seen this come on was when I was driving home one night after pulling a 16 hour work shift. It was probably spot on in its assessment.

I have never had tint installed on my cars, but I'm curious about the 3M Crystalline. How does the tint affect visibility on the front windshield? Can you tell it is installed? Any issues with night vision? Last question, can anyone post the cost for them to have it installed? I have no experience, like I said, but a ballpark is helpful. Thanks.

When trying to set up the 4 digit code I noticed that I had to keep entering it in and after several attempts it would finally take. I finally figured out that what was actually going on was that the input field no longer had focus. Once I selected the field and then entered the code in everything was fine.

I just used a Chargepoint charger in the Bellevue Square Mall in Seattle. The L2 charge took around 2 1/2 hours, and cost a little over $5. You see where I'm going here, $5 for 21 miles of electric driving is not going to promote the use of EVs. As I was about to remove the cable a woman that was driving past stopped and asked how much it was to fill up. When I told her, she asked how far can you go then, I then told her 21 miles and she said frowned and said 'oh'. Is it just high here in the Seattle area? That would surprise me as I believe Washington has some of the lowest electric costs in the country. Is this consistent with what others are seeing?

The Fusion Energi didn't start hitting dealerships in any real numbers until March/April I believe.

I purchased my 2013 Fusion Titanium Energi 2 weeks ago. This past week I also accepted a job in Seattle (I live on the East Coast). The relocation company will ship my car but it needs to be at 1/4 tank of gas or less. I have 3/4 of a tank in it. So I now need to try and burn a half a tank of gas quickly in my plug-in hybrid high fuel efficiency car. The irony, it hurts.

On my Titanium Energi the voice quality of the navigation system ("Your destination is up ahead on the right" etc.) sounds a bit off. There is static in it, not terrible but quite noticeable. It only occurs on the basic GPS speech components like "Turn right", "Your destination.." etc., anything that has a specific name in it, like "Turn right on York Road" sounds fine. I'm guessing that the phrases with street names are phonetically generated, and use a different system. Our 2011 Ford Edge with the same sync system does not show this behavior. Has anyone else noticed it or is it just my vehicle?

When I see videos explaining the Energi regeneration they just mention the breaking regen. As I understand it the car will also generate electricity when the vehicle is coasting (the electric drive motor turns into a generator). This bears out when I look at the center info display during coasting - it shows electricity flowing back to the batteries. If I'm slowing down to an upcoming stoplight which is more efficient? I have a 2013 Fusion Energi Titanium that I just purchased two days ago. I downloaded the PHEV version of the Myford Mobile app for my android phone and iPad. I registered for an account and am able to log in and see the vehicle battery status. Of the four tab icons at the bottom of the app only two are enabled - the left most which shows the charging status and the right most which allows you to access your account etc. The middle two are disabled. I believe that the remote start etc. are in the other two disabled tabs. Any idea why I can't access those features? Thanks. Kiros
