GBRYD reacted to Energized for a gallery image, Hybrid Only MPG
MPGs in hybrid-only mode (EV Later). No energi used from the plug-in battery.
Note that the Energy Use display truncates the last digit of the fuel used rather than round up or round down. The system does however use the entire amount of fuel used in the MPG calculation.
Actual fuel used was 1.07922 gal for 50.4 miles = 46.7 mpg. 0.0 kW of energy was used from the plug-in battery. -
GBRYD got a reaction from Energized for a gallery image, New sil plates
Installed them myself. It was the only option I didn't get with the car that needed to be on. LOL They look better then expected. Don't ya think? -

GBRYD reacted to Dark Matter for a gallery image, CA HOV
HOV stickers arrived! Picked up the car on March 22, and they arrived April 26. I'm impressed it was so fast! Carpool lane, here I come! -

GBRYD reacted to 47Minutes for a gallery image, 04 11 Energi As Hybrid
This was my evening commute today, 4/11. I'm pretty proud of this one. I depleted the EV range on my morning drive in and do not have a way to recharge at work yet. So I knew the drive home would be as a regular Hybrid. With all of the negative remarks from folks with the Hybrid not achieving 47mpg, I was VERY pleased to get 55.1MPG with an Energi that is a few hundred pounds heavier. And I just have over 700 miles on it and the temp was just around 60. So I expect this to only get better. -
