  1. Any drawbacks going stock size tires with an 8" wide wheel versus the stock 7.5" ?
  2. Which Continental tire did you choose?
  3. That should be about 2 lbs. less (???) than the factory 10-spoke wheel on the Titanium. Overall, an 8lb savings. Think I will go with the Pirelli Cinturato P7 Grand Touring All-Season Plus LLR tire as well - as the stock Michelin energy saver tires are really bad. The Pirelli's are highly-rated on TR.
  4. Hi All, These caught my eye and I think they'd look spectacular on a 2015 Titanium Energi in tectonic silver metallic. I'm keeping the stock wheel/tire size. These tickle anyone else's fancy? Here they are on a Nissan (minus the black accents):
  5. Has the OP suffered decreased mileage with the new tires? The stock tires are complete crap - and I've only put 400 miles on them. I had a set of Hankook Ventus s1 noble2 on my Focus and they felt miles better than these Michelin tires.
  6. I put in my VIN and the car it kicked out was a Ford Transit Connect in the same color (tectonic) :drop:
  7. Agree 100% and have been riding and lane-splitting in CA for 20 years. When he first started riding, a friend of mine was rear-ended at a red light - sitting behind a car. He was a new rider and was not comfortable lane-splitting. He escaped unharmed - but his bike was totaled. He now rides between traffic - right up to the light. Lane-splitting on the CA freeways is a no-brainer due to traffic and heat.
