Saw this earlier this summer at a car show.
  4. I wish there were a sensor to remind you that it's open before driving away. Wouldn't have taken much for Ford to do that.
  5. I did my grill with Plastidip and it holds up great. I did both upper and lower because I wanted both to match.
  6. Over the last month I've notice after plugging the car in all night I'd get some odd readings on the dash. It would indicate 95% but then default to AUTO mode and X out the EV and EV Later. However the battery would show a full blue as if it were full. Other times I'd be able to change to the other modes but it would switch to AUTO the first time I stop the car and do the previous issue. The car will run and drain the EV but wont let me change modes. The other issue I've noticed is the braking. I'll brake and occasionally the brakes will seem to give out in which the natural response is to brake harder and then it re-engages. It seems to do it more often on right hand turns. I know it will do it when I hit bumps, but lately it's been random. The road can be smooth and it will do it. The only factors that have changed are the winter temps and that I have swapped to steel rims with winter tires. I have an appointment to take the car in this week, however the diagnostic reports shows nothing wrong. I'm not sure if it's a software issue or what, but it's becoming an issue that is deterring me from enjoying this car.
  7. They don't have any chargers set up at our plant, except for Management, Plus you have to have a pass card to use it. The sad thing is.... We build the transmission for all the Fusions, including the Hybrid and Energi.
  8. I bought a new 2015 Fuison Titanium Energi. I'm loving it. I drive 65 miles each way to work. mostly hiway. Very noticable savings in gas. Here's a few pics. I blacked out the grill. Tint is next.
  9. I haven't bought a set for the fusion energi yet, Thanks for the heads up. I've done this in the past with most of my other vehicles...but didn't know about the energi.
  10. X-Ice and Blizzaks are probably the two best winter tires on the market. X-Ice have a better roll resistance so you'll get better fuel economy, but you give up a mild amount of handling in slush. The Blizzaks handle slightly better but have some drag. The difference in mileage is only about a 1/4 mile per gallon, but I think that's worth the extra traction. Either way, winter tires are one of the best investments you can make. I usually buy a set of cheap rims that I don't mind being damaged by winter salt and potholes, and winter tires. I have 17's, but 16's will fit, so I'll get a set of 16 to give me a larger sidewall. This allows for less damage to the rims, steering and suspension components when you hit potholes.
