I like the Ford oem blade. Ford also sells a more universal blade. Get the oem blade. It has a lower profile, better fit and performs well. The dealer may have to order the part, but that is just a few days at most. Use the part number from the owners manual. Not expensive.

I had 40,000 miles when I returned the leased fusion Energi 2 weeks ago. Great car! (I now have a Tesla Model 3).
-
On a trip I always was around 600 miles or more. The range estimate should become more accurate in time.

The 2019 has a battery improvement and about 10% plus range increase. Models have been simplified and platinum trim level is gone.

12V battery died after one week on EV mode?
PJFW8 replied to JustinasCereza's topic in Batteries & Charging
I agree with your basic Li-ion battery advice. Nevertheless, I experienced 6 years of being plugged in with no significant degradation and one 12 battery problem (3 years ago when I was parked at a hotel for 3 days). Also, I charged the 12 volt to 100% SOC every 3 to 6 months. Ford Energi's have a HV battery management system. I also keep a small 12 volt jump start pack. I used it once on a stranger's stranded car. car. I agree with your suggestion about the charge port. -
12V battery died after one week on EV mode?

Basic advice: Keep the car plugged in when you are not driving it. The car may reset the error message. Always unplug the car before you get in. Never start the car when plugged in. It seems to me that an electrical system is staying open. Typically a cell phone, USB drive, the car's modem, aftermarket accessory or interior light. There may be a problem with the charge port. The port may be mistakenly reporting connected status. Check 12 volt battery posts from 2013 and 2014 on this and the CMax Energi forums. These types of problems were frequent back then. There may be an answer there. Great car...stick with it! -

I got my Tesla Model 3 6 weeks ago. Fabulous and flawless so far, but at $56,000 ($48,500 with tax credit) it is not cheap! My 2016 Fusion lease goes back next month. It was a really great car. It replaced a CMax Energi. I will miss Ford, but it is Ford who hooked me on plug-in driving. Thanks to all on this and the CMax forum for their help and advice!

Sold! Someone picked them up and refused to take them without paying. I did well!

My 2016 did the same thing today. 10 minutes behind. Odd!

For my North Carolina friends, winter tires are great if you live in the mountains. They also allow you to run a true summer tire! And, free is a good deal! If there is no interest , I will take the to the local Ford store. One of the mechanics will want them.

Good point!

The wheels and tires are yours if we can figure out an easy way to ship. I am looking to avoid going through the work of packing and shipping. There is no way that I will ship the wheels separately. If there is an easy way to do this, let me know. These wheels and tires were great when I visited Michigan over Christmas.

I just removed my winter wheels and tires. The car is a lease and will go back before next winter. From Tire Rack. Michelin X-ice 3 on Sport Edition 17 inch wheels includes TPMS, lug nuts and training tool (may be needed in early models). Fits 2013 t0 2016 Fusion for sure and probably 2017-2018. 17,000 miles. All free! The only conditions are I will not ship! In Hendersonville, NC. I would be willing to drive a reasonable distance to drop-off or meet you. No catch, I just need to clear out my garage! Photo attached.

I replaced my 2013 C-Max Energi with a 2016 Fusion Energi. These are great cars, They made me hate it when the gas engine came on. I have a first day reservation Tesla Model 3 coming to replace the Energi. There are no good other options that meet my needs. I always buy Ford but Ford's EV is years away, at best. By the way, My Tesla ETA for rear wheel drive is January -March 2018. I am holding out for AWD which will delay me until fall.

VW owner looking for sweet spot for used Fusion Energi

On a 2017 the top is the Platinum! Better price than a 2016 equivalent Titanium. Good lease!
