About Blue Ohmbre

  1. Hi, I'm in Sacramento also! Hope you are still active on the forum and are enjoying your car. Come join us at the SacEV meetings at the Nissan Center in West Sacramento. Check their website for the next public forum date. We love to have new members with any type of EV, but we need more folks with Ford EVs!
  2. Congrats! I agree with all your gripes, but they are minor compared to the car as a whole. I'm a new owner too. The only thing I wish mine had were the 19" rims but I'll live with the 17 " for the cushier ride... I'm upset with myself in that I already put a small scratch on the rims as I was traveling out of town, was tired and parked too close to a curb...dumb me. I can buff and paint it, it's very small. . I've been so careful with parking away from other cars so I don't get door dings, and I go and scratch my rim. Uggh. Well, they say the first scratch is the worst and it gets easier after that. Yes. Yes it is! Many happy miles to you and your beautiful Magnetic FFET.!!!
  3. Oh thanks guys! I'm checked into my hotel and just reading this now. Yes I will be getting a level 2 charger soon. I already have my green carpool lane stickers from the dealer. I know about the tax stuff and California rebates. Thanks for the link!
  4. Hi everyone! So I've been looking to buy an EV for some time and decided a Tesla was too rich for my blood and so I went with my second choice...a beautiful new Deep Impact Blue Ford Fusion Energi Titanium with everything but a heated steering wheel. So far I love everything about it. I'm looking forward to digging in here and learning everything this car can do. I'm really impressed with the ergonomic comfort and ride quality. I rented a Ford Fusion Titanium Ecoboost from Enterprise back in February and took it on a long trip to see if I liked the ride. It was wonderful. There is nothing like being absolutely sure you made the right choice when spending this kind of money on a car. This was a big purchase for me and I'm thrilled to have my Fusion Energi. Glad to be here, too! This afternoon, I'm heading off on my first long road trip since I purchased my Fusion, but I'll be checking in here to see how I can best use the EV settings and such. I will probably be using a bit of gas on this trip, but that's why bought it...I travel quite a bit and there's no way I have time to charge during the day and get to my next stop. So glad I'm already averaging 50 MPG! I went from driving an 18 year old full size van getting 15 MPG. I'm loving this Fusion Energi and I've only had it one week!
