Hello Everyone, I live in the Phoenix Arizona area and got tired of watching cars zip by me in the HOV (car pool) lane, so I finally did some research and to my surprise found that there was a car that qualified for the HOV lane that doesn't look ridiculous (Prius, Leaf, etc.). Next thing I knew, I was at the dealership filling out an application for an Energi!! I never thought I'd be excited to drive a slow car (Rousch Mustang was the same price)! And now my HOV plates are on their way! I'm almost embarrassed to say that I'm excited. :) My interests as of this point are iPhone/iPad apps, public charging information, and sound system upgrades. I found an outlet at work but am getting flack from the management for using it, so I'll probably get on the public charging bandwagon really soon. I'm also hoping that the MyFord Mobile app will get some needed attention. I don't know how it's on Android, but it's not ready for primetime on iOS. But I'll save all this stuff for the appropriate threads. Summer is coming up here in Phoenix so it's going to get really hot (110+ degrees). I'll have a good idea how efficient my car is in "normal" weather before the yearly meltdown rolls in, and will be able to (unfortunately) provide feedback regarding the Energi operating in extreme heat conditions all too soon. I have the Titanium edition, not because that's what I wanted, but because that's all I could get without ordering a custom one from the factory. The HOV plate program is very limited, so I didn't want to take the chance of there not being any HOV permits left if I had to wait two months for shipment of the base model I wanted. However, now that I'm driving it, I'm glad I got it. I'm sure that will all change when I make that first car payment! I look forward to lots of good information from this forum, and I hope I can be as much of a help to others. Cheers!! Brian
