I haven't personally seen these, but the reviews are pretty good - I think the 2gFusion forum has some info on them if you can't find anything here. If I remember correctly, the high beam isn't really a high beam, and you'll still use halogens for the forward lighting. You will also have to fiddle around a bit to get the DRL feature to work, I think.......

The old light ring

Greetings all! Long time lurker, infrequent poster here. My LED Charge ring had 2 segments out, which completely bothered my OCD. I looked on the web for how top replace it and didn't find anything, so I thought I'd share my experience. I bought one online for about $90 and had it shipped to me. I was unsure how difficult it would be to replace, but it took me less than 1/2 hour. I took off the front driver's side wheel and took off the fasteners that hold the wheel well housing on (I only took off the ones towards the rear of the well - that was enough). Pull it loose and you will have access to everything. I unplugged the light ring and discovered the ring assembly is held in with tabs. I pushed the tabs in at the bottom (I used a screwdriver with a fat blade) and then pressed in the ones at the side (doing this at the wheel well), I then opened the hood and you can see the top tab- i pushed that in with the screwdriver and was able to take the ring out. I then inserted a small screwdriver to remove the "old" door (a new door was not included with the new assembly). I cleaned the area under the old ring and waxed it. I then reversed the procedure (inserted the wire and snapped in the assembly) and then put the old door back on and checked it. Voila! All of the light rings were operational!!! It was pretty easy! Don't be afraid to try it! ​My light ring started not working s=right after the warranty. My dealer is pretty useless on repairs to my car. Your mileage may vary. The pics are (hopefully) below.

Mt (traction) battery meter has always been fine. But my useful mileage did go down when I bought a new set of tires. No worries though- i was not a fan of the OEM ties anyway, and these are much better (quieter and better traction).

I have 35,000 miles on the odometer - only 1000 more to the end of the warranty!!!!!!! The dealer still has it; i picked it up today and it did the same thing! I don't really think they have a Hybrid/Plug-in tech on staff. and after talking to them about it I'm beginning to think that the 12 volt battery is indeed the culprit. They said they checked it; i asked if they took it out of the car and checked it or not. Of course, they never removed it, and I enlightened them about volts, amperage, and current. How can you accurately check a battery while it is in the circuit?

I agree - but the dealer just called back. The traction battery (or the charging system) is throwing faults (too low of a charge on the traction battery). They are keeping it overnight to check it out in the AM. Ugh!

I had the wrench light come on yesterday morning. I also noticed that, when I got in the car that morning, the navigation display said something like "System shutting down due to low battery". I also noticed that it was still trying to charge from the charger (220 volt, which had been plugged in for 12+ hours). And the normal chimes had defaulted from the nice tones to the cheaper-sounding tones. It's at the dealer today - I have 35,000 miles on my 2014 Energi, and I'm planning on a 2000 mile road trip in less than a week. THe car has been pretty flawless up to now. :-(

I bought a Mitsubishi iMiev charger on eBay for $100. It works like a charm!! The cable to the J1772 connector seems fairly heavy when compared to the Ford Level 1 charger; I might use it if I ever get a home 220 charger DIY kit.

Ditto, and welcome! I'm also a relatively new owner (January) and absolutely think the car is wonderful! I love the gadgets and think Ford (Hermosillo as well as engineering and R/D personnel) did a great job with assembly, fit, and finish. I had the car parked by valet last weekend (I had no choice) and it was interesting to see where the car got parked (thank you, My Ford Mobile!). I wish you many happy miles of smiles!

There is a WalMart a few miles away from me (a Super WalMart, to be specific) that has a BUNCH (6, I think) Level 2 chargers installed that are free to use. I usually stop there around once a week and try to stay at least an hour. I'm sure someone, somewhere is tracking that data. They have the spots in 2 locations: one spot is very close to the front; those spots are usually ICEd. They have 2 other spots further away, which are always open. They even plowed a little path to them when it snowed. I would guess many of you also like to stop and sponsor businesses - especially those that offer free electrons while you shop! As a side note, there is a McDonald's fairly close to me with a Level 2 charge port, but they charge waaay too much to use it. No thank you!

I just bought (in January 2015) a 2014 Fusion Energy Titanium for $27,750 which had 10,000 miles on it from a dealer. It has everything except the heated steering wheel option - and I love it! My only other Ford was a 1990 Thunderbird which I put 170,000 trouble-free miles on. I hope this one lasts as long! :-) I really love the car - my previous car was a 2010 Prius. Aside from trunk space, the Fusion blows it away in every category. I currently live 2 miles away from work; the Prius ICE ALWAYS turned on in cold weather, so my gas mileage was around 30MPG (winter only). Not so in the Fusion - and I can usually plug in and get free electrons at work! :-)
