  1. I just turned 20k miles on the car and also got the 10k ev award so I'm 50/50. Everyone will say something different. I'm a oil guy. I change oil in my diesel every 3k which holds 16qrts. Fresh oil will help your motor....sure you can change it later but it's not going to help the motor. Also I don't see a change in my mileage. I drive rough terrain so maybe a mpg or something but not noticable.
  2. I understand it's the net the question was is it what was drawn from the battery from the charge or total. You can regen a lot of charge. Especially on my commute. I go over two passes
  3. Ok. So on my ford mobile under the trips tab next to the battery that kWh reading is what my battery is holding? It read 5.6 last trip.
  4. Yes but that's total kWh used not just what the battery initially held with a charge.
  5. Where does the cat keep track. I'm trying to see what the battery is holding.
  6. I was trying to see how many kWh my battery was holding now that I'm at 19k miles. I noticed there was a thread on here about people posting what they were getting. My question is does my ford mobile state the total kWh used that drive including regen or is that what the battery held from one charge? On the trips and trends tab.
  7. Before I was avg 50-51. It's 110 mile commute and I charge at both ends.
  8. Well I assumed I'd lose a few but not 10mpg. I'm used to diesels where I can tow 10k pounds and lose 1mpg. Haha.
  9. Back in the day my old f150 ran way better on premium but I was an old truck. I know euro cars require it too. I was just curious cause of the volt.
  10. I don't need it everyday but I know if I take it off I'll need it. Lol.
  11. I have always used regular for my fusion. However I heard the volts use premium and was wondering if anyone got better mileage using premium?
  12. Hey all I recently got a Thule rack and box and my mpg has tanked. My 110 mile commute has me getting 39mpg and I charge both ways. It does go from sea level up 4k foot passes. I also noticed I'm having it revved a lot more than before 5-6k rpm. Anyone else notice this?
  13. Got it all on. I really like the look and will be really nice to be able to carry stuff. Plus the box is huge but still enough room to fit a bike rack or lumber beside it. Curious to see what my mpg drops to
  14. My gf and I share vehicles (I have the fusion energi and an 08 f350). The 350 has a blown motor and I'm a contractor so I need a truck at least once a week. She however was nice enough to buy a 250 diesel 7.3 that I get to use whenever I want and we just trade. I thought having the box would really help carrying stuff and wouldn't have to take the truck as often. I ended up not getting the force box as I read some bad reviews of it and I found the hyper XL on Craigslist. It was brand new as the guy won it and never used it and got it for $600. I was stoked as its $1000 normally. All goes on tomorrow. I'll take a picture and post it.
  15. I got the pilot sport a/s 3s installed. Wow is all I can say. I only have 100 miles on them but everything is better. First off the road noise is much less. Second you feel way more in control as there is much more response. The sidewall is thicker and the rubber goes out from the rim more. Much more stability than the energy saver. I took it out the windy road and traction and stability was insane over the energy saver. Then on the dirt road where I would normally have to get a running start or it would spin drove right up without losing traction once. It also drove nice on gravel. Had I known the energy savers were this bad and made the car handle and drive so much worse than it could I would have tossed them before I drove it off the lot. I'm not a race car driver but the stability of them was rubbish. Wet traction was also terrible. I could take corners faster in my 10k pound 1 ton with mud tires. I'm really curious how these will handle in the wet. I will report back. I would recommend them to anyone that gets new tires. They do not come with as good of warrantee, only 45k instead of 65k but much better tire.
  16. So the trunk space finally got me to break down and get racks. Too often I find myself driving my truck for things I can't fit in the trunk. I went to my local outdoor store and got the Thule aeroblade racks, locks, and the force alpine box. $1,049 out the door with free install. The fitment kit is on order, I'll post pics once installed. Anyone else using a box?
  17. Mine failed and I had a new one in a few days. Are they covering it? I bought s leaf charger for my second charger.
  18. Rexracer. I agree. I wasn't saying ford was terrible just that dealer. Although the 6.4 powerstroke 08-10 is probably the worst Diesel engine made. I'm a little upset ford would not back the motor at all. Kind of like the 6.0 they hid behind closed doors. But I'm very happy with my energi. And it was not all the tires fault, I drive a super windy road (ca 299) and about a mile dirt road everyday. But like I said mud tires lasted longer than 15k. I go in tue for the new set. I'll report back how I like them. The energy savers were horrible in wet so I'm curious to see how the pilots do.
  19. Yeah that's why I was very disappointed with them because people normally get a lot. I know my driving habits are different but still. Yes I am happy. Back to the original question, what have you guys replaced yours with. Any of you use the pilot sports. Also how are your cars holding up? I change the oil and rotate the tires every 7500.
  20. And Idk how they only lasted 15k. I did the same commute in my truck with mudders and they lasted longer. But Michelin honored the warrantee (through Sears) so I'll see how the pilot sports work out.
  21. I forgot to mention my 100 mile commute is twisties. Cornering all day and rough road. Plus about a half mile dirt road. Im not your avg plug in driver. I have 15k and 5k was in electric mode. But my overall mileage from day one is still 50 which is impressive since I'm going from sea level to 4k feet.
  22. So 2015 titanium 15k miles tires are gone I commute 100 miles to work and live down a dirt road so they are getting used but 15k is pretty sad. I've had mud tires last longer. Took the car to tr quick lane to get them warranted with no luck (as always). My local dealer is a complete joke. I'm already in the process of suing them for blowing up my 2008 6.4 diesel a week after I spent 10k to have them rebuild it. But that's another story. I was furious that I bought the car from them and they wouldn't help me with the tires even though THEY rotated them every oil change and I even took it in for an alignment to make sure but it was in spec. So I took it to Sears and was in and out in 10 minutes 75% off a new set. Waiting for them to come in. I ordered the pilot sport a/s 3. Anyone used them? Anyway besides hating the dealer I love the car. Spend lots of time in it and is a very enjoyable drive.
  23. I was in my buddies shop after work and was saying how Ive got 11k on my fusion and my tires look more than half worn. I'm not hard on the car at all but do drive windy roads. He recommended cambering the tires out a little so I wear the outside edges less. We did just that (still in spec but the most out possible (-1.8) and the front had a lot of toe from the factory which we took out. The result was great. Handles a lot better. Just a tip if any of you wanted better handling. Also I beleive the stock tires have a 65k mile warrantee?? Anyone else wearing them fast?
  24. I just ordered a brand new one $289 shipped on ebay. I wanted a second charger to leave at worj so I'm not constantly lugging them around. Anyone else buying other chargers? I also like how Nissans comes with a carry bag. Where is ours ford?
