Looking for a good bike rack suggestion for my 2015 Fusion, does anyone have one they like? In particular, I'd like it to be easy to take on and off, and not have a high risk of doing damage to my car. Thanks!

Man larryh, this is impressive stuff. Here is another interesting question. It appears to me that the general consensus on this forum is that the energy cost of leaving windows down is a better decision then turning the AC on. For purposes of this question, consider that the car is at some "warm" temperature, and that if you turn on the AC it is at some medium level of power (not blasting but not basically off), and is traveling at a variety of speeds (30mph, 50mph, 70mph). Is there a speed point at which it takes less energy to turn on the AC then you lose to putting the windows down?

How did you get the coupon? Just in the 2015 brochures for the Energi? I ordered some a couple weeks ago and I still haven't gotten them. How long does it take to get brochures?

$3,557 is the current lease incentive portion that Ford gives back to you for the tax credit (just ordered my 2015 for lease this past weekend). However, the tax credit for the 2015 for purchasers will be the same as the 2014 since the tax credit is a predetermined calculation based on the size of the battery included in the vehicle (the Volt gets like 35 miles on charge and gets the full 7500 for example). Quote from IRC 30D doc: "For vehicles acquired after December 31, 2009, the credit is equal to $2,500 plus, for a vehicle which draws propulsion energy from a battery with at least 5 kilowatt hours of capacity, $417, plus an additional $417 for each kilowatt hour of battery capacity in excess of 5 kilowatt hours. The total amount of the credit allowed for a vehicle is limited to $7,500."

I'm getting ready to order the 2015 Fusion Energi Titanium this weekend, and I am curious to see where current owners stand on a couple of different things. Color: I went to test drive and look at a couple of Energis a couple weeks ago, but haven't found any in the color scheme I am looking to buy (dealer didn't have material swatch samples for it either). I'm a little scared to order something without seeing it, so I was hoping to at least get a little feedback from the community. I was thinking about doing a Magnetic Exterior with the Brick Red Interior package. Does anyone know how vibrantly red those seats are? If they are a softer red, I am all for it- I just don't want something that yells at me every time I get in the car. If you do think the seats are too flashy, do you have a recommendation for a different exterior/interior color pairing? Rims: I thought I had read there was a new 18" rim option with the Appearance package on the '15, but I haven't found an images supporting that theory. Does anyone know anything about this? Driver Assistance Package: I definitely don't need park assist, but have those with this package found good benefit in having it? Moonroof: I haven't been able to check out a model with the Moonroof, but about how big is it comapred to the roof? Some cars these days advertise a "Moonroof", but you may hardly be able to stick a hand out of it. Not like older cars where you could easily fit two people through it Appreciate your input. Thanks!
