  1. Has anyone had this problem? I had a week where the engine ran nonstop. As soon as I started the car the engine came on and this message came up and I had to acknowledge it to make it go away.   2. I live in Montana. I just got my FFET a couple months ago. We just had our first snow and I have already determined the stock tires are inadequate for the slick roads. I will be getting a second set of mounted snow tires for winter. I have noticed that instead of 20 mi range I am now down to 14 mi to start with on a full charge. I am getting a cold weather extension cord to run out to my car with an multi plug head for the engine heater. Otherwise it work ok. I kind of suspect that heating the car before the go time is more than the 110vac charger can handle. Cooling in the peak of summer is probably going to be the same.
  3. The dealership finally called last thursday (9/11) to tell me that my car is at the local train station, but burried at the back of the car. Funny because it was supposed to be delivered a month ago and the car has been listed on their inventory web page for longer. http://bit.ly/MYFFET They say that they should have it inspected and ready Monday or Tuesday. We will see if that holds.

  5. What Mods have you tried to get improvements in Efficiency and/or Performance? Feel free to post your mods and results here. Make sure to include links to any products you used. This caught my eye and got me thinking that the carbon brakes could be applied to the Fusion for weight, braking distance, and fuel savings. Anybody else try carbon rotors on their Energi?   6. Murphy, It's funny that you say that because it matches their story almost verbatim. I understand that they are not able to speed up the delivery, and that it will be here when it gets here. That wasn't why I wanted to talk to him. Even if it was he had no business brushing me off. It wasn't that he was busy, he refused. I haven't even been introduced to him yet.
  7. I went in today to talk to the GSM about my car being past due, but he refused to see me. I am not happy with the brush-off treatment. I guess I need a better way to get their attention, one they can't ignore.
  8. Eric and/or Murphy: Do you have to turn it off in order to pass other vehicles on the interstate? Ever have any hickups with oncoming traffic or passing on 2 lane highways while on ACC?
  9. Are their limitations on the Adaptive Cruise? Forward Range? Can it see cars ahead that are off center on a curve in the road? Other limitations?
  10. Has anyone here tried or own a JuiceBox L2 charger? I like that they are opensource and the top model fully assembled is about half the cost of Ford's L2 charger. It is more than enough to max out the Energi's charging capacity. I was wondering if anyone here had experience with them? Juicebox L2 Charger

  13. Thanks. My sticker says 9/15 so the car has been completed already? When I called last thursday, the manager told me that my car would be delivered by the end of September. Does it really take a month for delivery? www.cotusb.ford.com still doesn't have any tracking info. BTW I did a search for my VIN online and pulled up my vehicle in my dealer's inventory page! It didn't say sold, and anyone could make an offer on my car. What's up with that? The first salesman didn't know much at all about the cars he sells and argued with me against special ordering a car. I take it they don't get credit on special orders for commissions or quota's.

  15. Thanks. I was able to pull the Sticker. Any way to know how long it's been available? I call my dealer rep every week after the tuesday updates to get the latest. This week they said the car had been "Bucked". He wouldn't/couldn't tell me what that meant. Anyone know? He said that my delivery date had again been moved back to 9/29. According to what they promised me at the time I ordered I should have driven it off the lot today.

  17. Now after 7 weeks I finally have a vin and TWO tentative delivery dates 9/15 and 9/21. Apparently they have two different dates from two different computer systems. I am fast losing patience with the Ford Reps. The order tracking site at ford.com still can't find my car by either the order # or the vin. I was promised at the time I ordered that I would be driving my car off the lot by now.
  18. FIVE weeks ago (6/27) I placed an order for a fully loaded Ford Fusion Energi Titanium hybrid. It is still not even been put on the line. It was scheduled to be put on the line July 22, so they say, but they won't tell me when it will be started orwhen it will be delivered. It still isn't showing up at all on the ford order tracking site. The dealer promised me 6-8 weeks from the time I placed the order. Anyone else have this problem? Suggestions?
