  1. Just got of the phone with the Shipping yard. She said they will be delivering my car tomorrow in the AM!
  2. I would just tailor the lease to best fit you. For instance, I like to get a new car every 2 years, so I do 24 month leases. I drive about 8-9k per year, so I do 10,500 mileage. I highly recommend getting a 24 and 36 month lease figures, because Ford likes to push a certain term sometimes. I have done leases on vehicle where the 3 year term is a higher payment than the 2 year term. If you want some pure #'s feel free to message me, i can run the lease for you on my end to make sure you are getting a good deal. Dealers can mark up the rate to make money too.
  3. Vehicle visibility that the dealer can access really isn't accurate I have found. I have access to BNSF and it will give exact gps coordinates. I just logged in, Ford Visibility states "Seattle", yet it is actually unloaded and ready for delivery to the our Dealership. So it may be here today!
  4. Looks like we are going to get ours at the same time! Mine just showed up at the rail yard for shipping to us!
  5. If you go to the Cmax Energi Forums you can get a lot useful information there too. Since they have been out longer, there is some great info there. Temperature and Climate control are mile killers. If you are below 45-50 degrees and have your heat cranked up you can expect almost a 40-50% drop in miles. I read that if you set a "go-time" it really helps, because you don't need to use the climate control as much. And of course I second the comments regarding how you drive the car.
  6. Well mine is still sitting at a rail yard, 30 minutes away from my house. Still has to go another 45 minutes south, then I gotta wait another 3 days for it get to me......awesome!!!
  7. So, as of this morning my car is 30 minutes away in Seattle. But this is a "intermediate point" and the rail goes back down south another 45 minutes of Seattle to Kent, where you have to wait for it to be unloaded and put on a carrier and head to our Dealership. So close, yet so close!
  8. Yeah, that may be true with the 110v and not the 240v. If you go to the cmax energi forums they are talking about it.
  9. Our Dealership finally received a load of CMax Energi's. I drove one for a couple days to check out the powertrain, since it is the same as the Fusion. I am really impressed. Since I do most of my driving between the Dealership and Home, my round trip is 19 miles. I have the luxury of L2 chargers at the dealership also, so my entire commute will be on all EV, which is just awesome. I really like the "go times" you can set up. Since I have read that there is a power drain during this process, I set them up 30 minutes prior to driving, so after the car hits 72 degrees inside, the charger will replenish what was lost during this process, and when I get in, it's back to a 100% charge. Can't wait for my Fusion to get here!
  10. I can't see ETA's of other dealers. Once it is on a released and in transit, you need to get the ETTX rail # from your dealer. There is a thread somewhere with the info but you call 1-800-235-2352, say "location", then "ETTX", then your rail id # (6 digits usually), the say "done". And it will give you the update.
  11. Wow, my car is really crusin now! --IN TRANSIT--ARRIVED INTERMEDIATE POINT (UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD)---WCOLTON, CA----MAR-09-2013,05:49PT---ETA, MAR-27 At this rate it should be here early! It's great to them showing up on Dealer lots finally, Looks like Ford has really delivered on the distribution of Energi's. Hopefully hey have learned by the screw ups on the job #1 Hybrids.
  12. Yeah, guess features in the EV (Focus) app are different than the phev app. I added my VIN to it, but unfortunately you need to have the car to verify the addition.
  13. Yeah, i'm sure this is ok, maybe a day delay or so. They have fast procedures for stuff like this I guess.
  14. You have got to be kidding me: "Delay- Conveyance Mechanical Failure (Union Pacific Railroad )" Showing today on the transit report. I called the rail company, and it stated "no delay", it just said "arrived intermediate exchange, Nogales, AZ". Hopefully there really isn't a "delay"
  15. Golf clubs are going on the kids laps in the back seat I guess!
  16. Alright! Shipped today! "Shipped Rail - Railcar # ETTX901631 (Ferrocarril Mexicano S.a. De C.v. ) Now i'm excited!

  18. My build week was 2/18 not 3/18. And yeah, I assume the ETA is because it is suppose to get on a rail this week. But my hopes are not up.
  19. I have an ETA on mine as of this morning. ETA 3/27. It's all really meaningless until its on a rail car. For me in Seattle, it takes 2 weeks from Mexico via rail, sometimes a little less.
  20. In plant still. Probably parked next to mine and several others that have been "released". I would seriously just fly down there if they would let me pick it up. My Rep told me there isn't anything anybody can do to hurry it up, with the exception of Ford Execs I'm sure.
  21. What was the Dealership again? I can't into Vehicle Visibility for any vehicle other that ours. I can run a locate though, and all that will show is in stock, in transit or in plant.

  23. I guess as a Ford Dealer I can see updates more often. We have AM Allocation updates on Tuesday and Wednesday Mornings so we know what is getting pulled for building. Plus "vehicle visibility" updates daily also. But your right, as a consumer Friday is a good day to check.
  24. Energi's only get pulled for building if the Dealer gave Ford your order # to be picked up in that months allocation. If they have 4 Energi orders, and Ford gave them 2, the Dealer chooses which orders they want built. Obviously a well run Dealer would give Retail orders first, but we all know some Dealers don't. This "every Friday" thing doesn't make much sense to me. Between Tuesday and Thursday is when i can see what Ford has decided to pull for build. In fact, there is no new information on a Friday for a Dealer. All you really need to do is ask your Dealer if your order number was given to Ford for that months allocation, and then you know for certain that it will be picked up.
