Thanks for trying to help. But, you do not need to turn off CarPlay or have location services for FordPass enabled on your phone to collect EV driving data. This data is separate from the FordPass app and doesn't use that app in the collection at all. In fact, you don't even need to have FordPass installed on your phone to collect the data. Mine was working fine without doing having any of this enabled in FordPass.
-
The battery level, fuel level, preferred charge times, one time charge notification and charge logs have returned. The departure time settings has returned to the original location. EV driving data is still missing.
-
I think it is a work in progress. It worked for two weeks on my 2020 FFE. Then EV data and other functions disappeared.
-
You don't have to enable Journeys for the EV Driving Data to populate. I never enabled that setting and mine was working before this data and other functions disappeared.
-
FYI, the master reset doesn't fix the missing data issue.

I am having the same problem with my 2020 FFE. It worked fine for two weeks and then suddenly the same information disappeared as yours. In short, all of the EV driving data and battery information are gone. I have an escalation with Ford. Its been open for two weeks. They contacted me yesterday to let me know they are still working on the issue.

Thats all I'm seeing on mine as well. However, for the first two weeks I had battery level and EV driving data. These are now gone. I also lost charge level settings and the ability to set a one time battery level alert. I do have Departure Times (what used to be Go Times in MFM). I also get charge complete notifications.
-
I did the same. I am happy to see things being worked on. But like I said, I lost functionality since last Wednesday. I misspoke earlier. The new update did return a function that I lost last week. The Departure Times function has returned and is now under the Charge Settings section. Previously, it was under the Scheduled Start section. I completely lost that function last Wednesday and it has returned today. Last Wednesday, I also lost battery level with distance, battery charging details and EV driving data. These functions did not return for me in today's update. I had them previously at least as far back as version 4.11.0.
-
Strange, I could do all of this since at least version 4.11.0. However, I lost all of this last Wednesday. I am currently running 4.13.0.

Go Times (which are now called Departure TImes) worked on my 2020 FFE for two weeks after receiving the upgrade. The option suddenly disappeared a couple of days ago. I also lost EV data and battery level. Interesting though, I still get charge complete alerts. However, can no longer set them.
-
I do have an escalated case. We shall see.

I just received the upgrade two weeks ago. For me, it was working fine until yesterday. Then suddenly it asked to activate my car again even though the SDK website still showed the vehicle activated. When I tried to active, I received the same "something's not right message." I had two remove the vehicle, re-add and re-active. Unfortunately, after doing so, all of the Energi specific features, such as battery level and departure times, are now gone.

I'm not sure about the brochures. But the 2019 and 2020 Energi's did not have 4g. In addition, the remote functions of FordPass did were not available. You had to use MyFord Mobile. My understanding this was due to FordPass not being ready for the extra features of the Energi models. The other Fusion (non energi) had 4g modems and fully functioning FordPass. My 2020 Energi was just updated using 21B09 and now FordPass works.
-
One big feature that is missing, there is no web interface like there was with MyFord Mobile. In addition, there are no email or desktop alerts. On the other hand, the app seems to be more responsive and quicker. So far, I receive the same alerts as before, only quicker. I have not received any plug-in reminder alerts. But, I don't think I have forgotten to plug-in yet. Charge complete notifications have been more instantaneous and more reliable. Go Times exist but are now called Departure Times. Also, you can lookup the car's GPS location on a map, but there doesn't seem to be any history for previous trips of the vehicle. The EV data is there. But, under MyFord Mobile you could see the address of the last three or four parking locations of the vehicle.

My 2020 FFE eventually showed up and started showing data. Locking/unlocking/Remote Start seem to be working. However, I haven't been able to setup Departure times. Are they supposed to be working?

I had a 2017 FFE. Both Apple CarPlay and FordPass worked. You just couldn't' use them at the same time. The remote functions of FordPass didn't work of course because the FFE didn't support the remote functions with FordPass. You had to use MyFord Mobile instead. When FordPass was connected to bluetooth or USB it worked with limited functionality as long as you turned off CarPlay. You don't have to remove CarPlay. You just have to turn it off. Its a per device setting and can be turned back on at any time. Since then, FordPass supposedly has been updated to support FFE's and allow some of the functionality of MyFord Mobile as long as you get the 21B09 4g upgrade. Once you get the 4g upgrade you shouldn't need to turn off CarPlay unless you want to use the app directly in Sync via bluetooth or USB. I will be getting 21B09 applied to my 2020 FFE on Tuesday.

Ford didn't have FordPass ready for the Energi models. Because of this, the Energi's were left on MyFord Mobile which requires 3G modems.
-
And the app itself says five years.
-
Typo. Fixed.
-
For the remote functions and status to work requires your cars 3G modem to be replaced with a 4G modem. And even then, FordPass will not function exactly as MyFord Mobile did.

After sending a Ford executive an email about the situation with my 2020 Ford Fusion Energi, a person from the Executive Office of Ford just called me. For is going to upgrade the modem free of charge.
-
They were only doing this with the Energi version of the Fusions. Its because the FordPass software didn't support some of the functions provided in MyFord Mobile. So, they kept them on 3g for that.

Thats part of the problem. The Energis were never ready for FordPass. I think they are in a rush now to try to fix it. In addition to that, Ford doesn't make the Energis anymore. I sure wish I could get my dealer(s) to give me that price. My total from dealers around here will be $750. I sent an email to an executive at Ford letting her know I have had three different Energis over the past 10 years. I also told her the main reason why I keep purchasing the car is for the remote functions. She called me last Friday and said she would try to do something and I would hear from her this week. So far, she has not called me back.
