OP If you plan on keeping this car 8 year you better get a ESP plan. My 13 with 16K took over $15,000 to get running again!! The car only books out @ 20K. This is the only car I have ever bought a plan for.

Good News !!!!!!!!!!! I have my Fusion Titanium Back :clapping: Bad News !!!! 1. It goes into the body shop for repairs/paint. 2. Battery not charged when I picked it up 3. Had to do a panic stop ( someone ran a stop sign on the way home ) Something in the trunk went pop/thump sound......... ?????? Nothing is in the trunk, but the batteries. In case you don't know, they need to remove a back door to get the battery out of the car. Well someone did not think to worry about how careful they were when removing it.. Doors need to be painted. Down to the metal, think they stood the door up on it's edge and let it rest on cement floor and got knocked around. The "pusher car " to move my car in and out of the shop pushed in the rear bumper, knocked out the bottom skirt and put dents and removed paint on the bumper ( down to black plastic ). The best comment as I'm leaving, wait for it............... . . . . . . . " You will be getting a survey, we really like to see 5 stars."

Good News: My new battery is here ( 3/15 ) Bad News: They don't have the time to work on my car now....... WTH !!!! It's only been there since January........... 800-392-3673 Customer Care calls, they hope to work on it Friday. Really!! Do you have time in April ? The way this is going is just insane..............

That's part of the problem, I like the car. I would have to spend much more $$ to get into a Tesla or ELR. How long would you wait for a repair? Or how long should it normally take to get it running again? It has been dead since Mid January. I would have thought that too, on the Ford offering a ESP plan for this car...... Nope that's on me. My other problem is, I'm told the battery is shipped should be here by x date. The next week I get a call from both local ford and customer care ford the battery is being "shipped today". Well what happened for the last 2 week when it was already "shipped". It looks like Megan is the person everyone likes here. I'll send her my CAS# and see if she can knock some heads around. Sounds good on paper. 50% of the parts they have put in were not covered under the 8/100 warranty. This is why I was put on the spot to buy a ESP. I have already bought the plan myself, Ford did not stand up and offer to cover it or credit me for it when I asked for it. To add insult to injury local ford said it was $2,250.00 for the one I was looking at. Thanks to this site I found the same plan for $1,175.00 I keep seeing you are getting a "new battery"..... For whatever reason mine made the same trip daily for almost 3 years and I would run out of battery on the same block. I never felt the battery degradation that others seem to have. Other thing to note, For those who were told " you always have gas ICE for backup to get where you need to go" . That's a bad sales statement. If the the hybrid side goes down the car is a dead brick.

Update: Car still dead. For Washington State, Lemon Law only for the first two years. So, that's out. I have a CAS # with Ford. The best they will do is a month payment on the loan... Ford does not have a Buy Back program. I still had to pay for the Ford ESP myself. With over $100K spent on Ford products 2012-13, not sure I will buy Ford again. I have had many F-Series, Mustangs,Explorer, Bronco's, Fiesta's, Lincoln Mark Vll, MKX well over $250K in the Ford family line. This was the first big problem, and this is less then what I would have expected for a valued, loyal customer. I will be ready to purchase in the end of 2016-17 year to come, guess I'll be looking at GM and other products.....

My 2013 16K is dead. No start, run or charge. I put 12 volts to the jump start post under the hood and dash came alive. That's all that works, "pull over of safely". The thing is not moving or running. It has been at the dealer for 44 or 48 days now. They have put all kinds of parts at it, now a new HV battery coming. Problems is I do not feel good about this car anymore. Have a month left of 3/36, I have never bought a ESP plan on any of my many vehicles over the years. This one I just bought a Ford PC ESP just in case they do not have it fixed in 30 more days......... Something I think I should not have had to buy to protect me from this car. Has anyone had a buy back or lemon law work out good for them? Sad in Washington Kevin

I went with Ace Alloy 19's As for mileage... I can not say a exactly. I drive the same route 5 days a week. With the stock, I could just make it on all EV not always. Now with 245/40/19 I'm a mile to 1.5 short.

I have a 13.2 mile run each way total 26.4, 2 miles of freeway. I get 552.3 mpg's 60-70* out round trip with no plug in at work. I can plug in at work, but they want $1.25 have not used it yet. My Ti has 320 ish miles on her. Looks like eveyone use the other gauge, I was using the one with motor/EV and battery scale. Need to check that one in the am.
